"THIS IS YOUR CAR?" questioned kageyama as he pointed at the maroon camaro
"yes kageyama, you don't have to make a big deal about it." i laughed.
although kageyama and i just met today it felt as if ive known him my whole life.
he was my first actual friend, at least for now. ———— "so kageyama where do you live?" I said with my hands on the steering wheel.
"i live in front of the library."
i nodded my head and took him home —— "thank you y/n, for the ride." he said before getting off the car
"yeah of course. hey...also kageyama, we don't wear uniform at our school. just thought you'd know."
"yeah this is all i have since we would only wear uniform." he said with embarrassment
i nodded
"well. bye y/n, drive safe." kageyama said as he closed the car door and made his way to his house. ———

——— i made my way inside to look for my clothes to shower. after I showered i laid down on my bed and had many thoughts.
although kageyama and i met today i felt like i could open up to him. im not very social with people but with him it felt easy.
freshman year took me months to make "friends" just to find out they were all using me for answers for assignments and tests. some even made rumors about me and that made people stay away from me.
till this day people haven't stopped.
ive always thought about how itd be like if i wasn't here anymore but i just couldn't bring my family down.
its hard to be alone while in high school so I was trying my best to actually become friends with kageyama.
i wanted to talk to him first before people told him the ugly, false stories about me. he was my only hope, my only friend and I don't want to lose him.
