🐟 chapter: 62

The next morning Jungkopk woke up alone. He felt around with his hand searching for the warmth that he needed, but then realising it was gone, taehyung wasnt here. He opened his eyes and sat up in bed looking around.

"Tae?" he called softly. "Tae?" a bit louder. He was getting worried, because last night taehyung wasnt very good at handeling his emotion and needed jungkook. He just hoped taehyung wont do stupid things. The raven got out of bed and quickly got into some pants he found on the floor before rushing out of the room. Downstairs the curtains were still closed blocking the long window wall. He opened them and looked through it onto the beach, his eyes searching something blue.

He finnaly calmed down when he saw someone sit on the sand. It was Taehyung, he would reconise him everywhere.

Jungkook left the house and walked down the stairs to the beach, slowly approaching the boy. Taehyung sat near the water his legs up and arms wrapped around it. Staring into the distance with sad blue eyes.

"morning" jungkook said softly and sad down behind taehyung wrapping his arms around the little ball that was his boyfriend. He wont say 'goodmorning' it wasnt a good morning, it was a sad morning. Both had some time this night to process what had happend yesterday and what this means. But both were not ready to discuss it yet. They just want to be together and let the sadness pass over time.

Taehyung didnt respond to the human. His eyes watching the waves of the sea. "So this is what it feels like to lose a child...." he spoke up in almost a whisper. "did my parents feel this when i lost home too? Isnt it the same?....."

"its different.." jungkook said hoping it wont sadden the younger merman more. "you are still alive, our baby isnt"

"hm" the merman lowered his gaze to the sand. His cold hand held Jungkooks that was around him.

"you're cold.."

"i swam a bit"

"i see...", jungkook wondered how lomg the younger was awake not noticing any kind of wetness, even his hair was dry. "how long have you been here?"

"since night..."

"lets go inside" jungkook said and taehyung nodded. He held jungkooks hand refusing to let go as they headed back to the mansion.
"i will frehsen up real quick"

"take a bath?" taehyung asked holding jungkooks hand tightly so he couldnt walk away. "together?....Please"

"of course, if you want to. Come" jungkook said and smiled a bit. They head upstairs to the bathroom. Taehyung just wanted to be with jungkook, he didnt want to seperate. He wanted to be with him even if it was just silence.

They waited for the tub to fill up meanwhile they brushed their teeth and undressed. "careful" jungkook said when he saw taehyung stepped in the tub. They sat down together taehyung between jungkooks legs leaning against the human's shoulder. His long blue tail over the edge. He tried to curl it all into the tub but with two persons in the water his tail didnt fit in there as well.

"did you sleep?" taehyung asked, he wasnt there most of the night. He pulled himself back and went to the sea to think.

"kind of"

"hm" taehyung sighed and leaned more into jungkook. "do you think it would have been a boy or a girl?"

"i dont know. Both would be amazing." Jungkook said and leaned his head on taehyungs shoulder plressing their cheeks together. His thumb caressed taehyungs hand that he was holding softly.

"i was so happy, i wanted the baby......But t-they took it away from me"

"i know" jungkook noticed how tears started to roll down taehyungs cheeks. He wiped them away, but only more started to fall so he gave up and just hugged the boy, letting him cry.

"please don't leave me, i dont w-want to lose you too" taehyung closed his eyes and hid his face in in jungkooks neck.

"i wont. I won't leave you, never. I will be right here" jungkook assured him. He didnt want to lose taehyung either, he loved him so much to even think of leaving.

"thank you..."

And again a long silenece fell, both just sitting in the tub untill the water turned cold.

"we will be okay" jungkook said and sat up. "lets eat. We cant starve ourselfs by sitting here"

Taehyung nodded and got out of the tub with Jungkook's help. Letting the raven dry his tail again.
Taehyung refused to wear his own clothes, only wanting to wear something that was jungkook's. So jungkook gave him his clothes.

Back downstairs jungkook started making some french toast again, taehyung really liked that and maybe it will lighten the mood a bit. Luckily both didnt seem to he crying anymore, they were just very silent.

"thank you" taehyung said when jungkook finished the foor and put the plate down in front of him.
"can you...Learn me how to cook?"

"you want to cook?"

Taehyung nodded "i want to make you food too, to also take care of you.."

"sure, lets make dinner together  and you do the cooking" jungkook replied and smiled.

"okay"

Their day passed slow and both didnt have any kind of fun. They had just been laying on the couch together watching tv. None of the two felt like they wanted to do anything else
