~Adam's POV~

{morning before flight to Japan}

"Ready to go?" I yelled. Hannah was upstairs getting ready for our flight. It might've been three in the morning, but I knew Alesa and Winta were heavy sleepers, even though they both had their own things to deal with right now.

"Yeah," Hannah replied sleepily. I heard the clonk of her luggage hitting each step, and soon, she was standing in front of me, with her dark hair in a messy knot on top of her head, bags beneath her eyes, and oversized pajamas thrown on.

"C'mon, slowpoke, you can sleep on the plane," I offered, and practically dragged her out to my car.

We put our few bags in the back, and soon, we were off.

We arrived at the airport only a few minutes later. We went through security quickly (you'd be surprised how short the lines are at a Seattle airport at three in the morning), and sat down at Gate Two.

Unlike on our family vacation, this time we only had a few minutes to look around or grab breakfast. We found a bakery hidden in the corner of the food court, and I bought two chocolate chip muffins.

We sat back down at the gate and were about to start eating when they announced our flight was to begin boarding.

We grabbed our bags (and our muffins) and carried everything to the door to hand them our tickets.

"Have a nice trip," the ticket-taker said, in a non-convincing way.

"Thanks," I replied in the same tone. I let Hannah go in front of me, and we walked out to the hangar.

~~~
We were were nearly settled down on the plane (which had already flown into the air), when I kid you not, someone in front of us blasted The Phantom of the Opera again!
"What are the odds we'd meet two fans of a Broadway show on a plane in less than a month?" Hannah rolled her eyes. "I think the only difference is that this time, I can sing along."
"And that we were going back to Washington, not leaving. And we were with Alesa and Winta," I added. "Oh, and not to mention we were-"
"Okay, I get it," Hannah interrupted. "A lot more differences. A lot."
"Hum dah dee dee dah dum dee huh," the old guy in front of us hummed along to the tune happily. His jovial attitude towards the music made me laugh. Hannah tried not to for fear of offending him, but it came out anyways.
"Oops," she whispered, but the man didn't seem to have noticed us.
