    Elza makes a new group of friends in college where she meets the mysterious Lars, who doesn't talk to anyone. But there's something about him. For the first time she feels she can talk back without punishment. For the first time, she feels safe. 
    
    All Lars has ever known is fighting and pain. He doesn't talk to anyone, only if he has to. But there's something about her. For the first time he wants to talk and joke around. For the first time, he feels happy.
    
    But will Lars and Elza be able to overcome their differences? Will Lars finally open up to someone? Will Elza finally admit she doesn't need to do things alone?

    The sounds of fists pounding on flesh come to a halt. Cheers from the rowdy crowd become muffled to my ears. I finally got a clear view of Lars. I was in awe of the man before me. He was devastatingly handsome. Rugged and dangerous. I am positive he was the kind of man you were warned to stay away from, yet all I wanted to do was talk to him; he looked like he needed a friend.
