I was rewatching Keeper of the Spire randomly the other day, and I had an idea. 
    
    What if Hector broke Varian out of jail? What if Varian trained with Hector and then tailed Rapunzel's group until they were attacked by the Kirlok at the Spire? (Calliope: It's pronounced "spire".) Now Varian is traveling with Rapunzel's group and trying to atone for his actions. But this alchemist has many secrets, some that may threaten the safety of the group and their fragile trust in him.
    
    Chapter Length: I aim for around 2000 words. The first few are longer than that, but generally I will shorten them to 1000-1500 words. Maybe I'll add more pictures in lieu of more length.
