When Sam explained to him what had happened with the Djinn, he was sure that he'd manage to get the "old" Angie back anyways. But after experiencing first hand that it only took her a few hours to start a new life without him, Dean decided to let her go for good.

Meanwhile Angie gets a job at a secret task force after re-connecting with an old friend. He introduces her to new people and a different way of hunting. Without the trauma caused in hell, she seems happier than ever.
