Luke took a deep breathe it was now or never
"I'd like to ask for your permission to ask Julie to marry me "
Ray's eyes widen at first before breaking out into a huge grin
" of course you can there nobody else I want to marry my baby, welcome to family Luke "
Luke blushed and smiled happily knowing that ray had approved
" now let's see that ring "
Luke grabbed the small box from his coat pocket as he showed ray the rose gold diamond ring

Julie woke up that Christmas morning giddy with glee for the holiday she ran down the stairs seeing nobody in sight she looked around the room seeing no sign of life, she spotted a note on the table she noticed it was Luke's handwriting
She grabbed it carefully as she began to read it out loud
"Merry Christmas baby, if you wish to find me go to the place we first met "
