Reggie was excited for the first time in weeks to see me after being grounded for something he didn't do

As he was walking to the front door his dad slammed it shut startling Reggie greatly as he flinched

"You're not going to see that abomination again are you ?" His father Richard said with a look that even death himself would fear

*Reggie hated that father would call me names but it didn't bother
me I knew he loved me and that's what truly mattered to me *

Reggie looked down feeling his once happen mood slowly deteriorate away

" maybe ..it's been a week," he said softly as father rolled his eyes annoyed but mostly furious with Reggie

" I'll say it again boy !! No son of mine is going to be with another man "

Tears trying to swell up in his eyes but he couldn't not now not in front of his dad if say his tears
