|Chapter Ninety : Bailey|

"Amelia!"

"Be quiet Millicent you'll scare him!" I hissed at her as I looked at her with Bailey in my arms

"Is that a terrier?!"

"... maybe!" I said quietly as she shut the door and I set him down after he started to try and run at her. Crouching down I listened as she laughed as he flopped down in front of her

"You can't tell anyone"

"Why is he here?"

"I found him in the grounds- I thought he was a crup pup at first but then quickly realised he wasn't"

"Where in the grounds?" She asked quietly as she held Bailey in her arms as I fell quiet

"The forest?" I told her in a questioning tone and pulled a face before offering a tight smile as she gawked at me

"You're not allowed in the forest-"

"Nobody knows"

"I know-"

"And I know that you won't say anything" I said to her quietly with a pointed look as she nodded while Bailey came running over to me and I picked him up as he started licking my face

"Yes I love you too" I murmured into his coat smiling as he licked at my ear and I started laughing before lifting my head and debating something

"I'm going to show Blaise" I said to her smirking as she stared at me and watched as I walked out of the dorm

"Amelia!" Having reached the top of the stairs I didn't bother turning around to her while I disappeared down the stairs and walked into Blaise's dorm

"Blaise! Guess what-?" I said loudly as I stopped and looked at Draco

"You're not Blaise"

"No, I'm not. What're you doing in here?"

"I came in here to look for Blaise-"

"What the hell is that?"

"It's called a dog Draco, have you never seen one before?" I asked him with a cold tone to my voice as we stared at each other and he glanced at Bailey for a moment as they stared dead at each other

"Dogs aren't allowed in Hogwarts-"

"Tragic. Do you know where Blaise is? He needs to meet Bailey-"

"Who?" Blaise asked from behind me as I turned around with a grin before holding Bailey up to him

"Bailey! Look at him! Look at how cute he is!" I said to him grinning as he glanced between me and Bailey with a small smile and look of disbelief on his face

"You're kidding me right?"

"Nope! I love him!"

"You can't keep him here Lia-"

"Finders keepers losers weepers!" I said loudly before running past him as he grabbed my arm and the two of us laughed in the stairwell

"And if Snape sees him?"

"He won't, he can't see past his hair. I'm all good" I said to him as he tried to hide his snort of laughter while he looked at me

"How are you going to feed him?"

"I could always go to Hogsmeade-"

"We can't go there until next year"

"Fuck you're right, em... I could always just get him food from the kitchens"

"And where are you going to take him for walks?"

"The grounds obviously"

"And if you get caught?"

"I'll blame it on you" I told him shortly with a sweet smile before turning around and quickly darting up the stairs

"What?!"

"It's fine Blaise you love me!" I called over my shoulder laughing as I turned around and laughed at the look he gave me

"Don't deny it"

"Just try not to get caught Amelia"

"You're not denying!" I exclaimed laughing before disappearing down towards my dorm as I shut the door behind me and looked around the empty dorm before raising Bailey up as I smiled at him

"I love you Bailey. I think you need some food" I said to him and laughed as his tail started to wag and I set him down on my bed before quickly leaving the dorm as I sped out of the common room, quickly getting to the kitchens as a house elf greeted me

"Could I possibly get some food suitable for dogs please?" I asked as she nodded and quickly hurried off, coming back into sight a couple of minutes later with a box about the size of her as she struggled to hold it up as I quickly helped her with it

"Thank you so much" I said to her as she nodded smiling

"Nixie is always here to help Miss Black" she said with a smile as she bowed slightly and I heaved the box up

"We hope to see you again Miss Black" she said just as I slipped out of the kitchens and quickly hurried back to the common room with a tight hold of the box as strange looks were cast my way

"What're you doing in here?"

"Are you really going to tell me that's food?" Blaise asked laughing as he nodded to the box and I grinned at him before setting it down as I sat down on the floor while he sat on my bed with Bailey

"What can I say? The house elves love me"

"Here" he said as I looked up at him as he passed me a box as I raised an eyebrow at it

"Is something going to jump out at me?" I asked him with a small laugh as he shook his head smiling while nodding his head at me to open it as I took the lid off and smiled at the engraved bowls that sat stacked on top of each other

"How did you do it so quickly?" I asked quietly with a smile as he sat down beside me as I put food in one and water in another while I put the spare in with the food as I pushed the box under my bed and watched as Bailey jumped down from the bed, instantly making a beeline for the food as I laughed slightly

"I have my ways"

"Thank you Blaise- promise me you won't tell anyone"

"I won't- I don't know how you're going to keep it from the girls though"

"No I know, I didn't really think that through"
