"... hold the fuck up.." Pansy said quietly after we had just sat down on the bench for dinner as she stared up at the ceiling and me and Blaise swapped confused looks

"Wha-?"

"These fucking candles are floating!" She said as I closed my eyes, trying my best not to roll my eyes as I opened them again and looked at her amused

"You're lucky I love you"

"Pansy. You are so incredibly dumb"

"Thanks Blaise. Just the confidence boost I was needing" she muttered as the three of us burst out laughing while Daphne wandered over and sat down next to Pansy with a confused look

"Oh no"

"What is it?"

"She's thinking-"

"Merlin, Daphne. That's dangerous, you ought not to do that" Blaise said to her as the three of us laughed again while she sat there with the same look on her face before I leaned forward and poked her head as she looked up at me

"Are you alright?"

"There are guys down the table talking, pointing and looking at you" she said quietly with a confused look as Blaise and Pansy leaned forward at the same time to have a look, making them bang their heads together as me and Daphne broke out into fits of loud laughter as they rubbed their heads grumbling and scowling at each other as I held at my sides before glancing down the table, catching sight of Flint and Miles who had someone sitting in between them, light brown hair and face like stone, his pale skin making his face look sallow, no emotion evident whatsoever as he stared right at me before looking between the two, shaking his head. Turning away I looked back to Daphne who had composed herself

"So do you know them or are they weirdos?"

"I know them" I said amused before glancing back down as Flint motioned me over

"Give me a minute" I told her as I glanced to the two who were still rubbing at their heads as I grinned before standing up and going over

"Alright?"

"Yeah, we're good. Amelia, this is Adrian" Miles said with a grin as he turned to him and I did too, his eyes still on me as he sat with a slight scowl as I raised my eyebrows at him

"Well there's no need for that"

"I'll see you both at practice" he grumbled to the two before standing up as he left the hall and I suppressed myself from narrowing my eyes before I sat on the bench in front of them

"What's his problem?"

"He's been like this before, don't take it personally-"

"I wasn't going to" I told them laughing as they sat with smirks

"So he's the third chaser?"

"Yeah, he's not happy about Johnson leaving"

"But he'll warm up to you. In time"

"Hopefully"

"That's not optimistic at all" I said to them amused as I looked between the two of them

"Well anyway, I've booked the pitch for half past seven on Sunday. That's when you'll meet the rest of the team"

"Sounds good to me. Well if that's all, I'll see you both on Sunday" I said to them with a smile as I got up and they both nodded while I walked back down to Daphne who was watching Pansy and Blaise squabble with an amused look

"Is everything alright?"

"Oh yeah, everything's great. They're still arguing?"

"Yep, it's hilarious" she told me laughing as I started to eat the slice of steak and kidney pie while listening to the two argue

"Stop being a drama queen!"

"First of all thank you for calling me a queen, and second of all, no"

"I'm confused, was it Blaise or Pansy that just said that?" I asked Daphne quietly as she shrugged and the two of us tried to muffle our laughter as they continued to argue
