"You look nice!"

"I look like Holly"

"You suit it!"

"I look revolting"

"Amelia, you look great in it-"

"Again, you've got me dressed like Holly" I said to mum as I looked at the light blue denim skirt and white halter neck top with lace edges as she smiled at me before disappearing from the living room as I tightened my high ponytail as Holly walked in and grinned at me

"Hi!"

"Ugh-"

"Rude"

"You're too happy for me. Tone it down a bit"

"I can't. I'm naturally happy, always happy, always smiling. I can't help it. I can't stop being happy-"

"That's unhealthy-"

"No it's not!"

"It is-"

"You know, maybe you should try and smile. It's healthy to smile. It's been proven that when you look in the mirror and smile it lifts your mood-"

"I couldn't care-"

"Cheer up!"

"No-"

"Smile!"

"Absolutely not"

"Be happy!"

"No, because whenever I get too happy, something shit happens-"

"Oh..... I don't think like that! I think everything's going to be okay and always will be, nothing can bring my mood down-"

"You know, when you're too happy around people, it can't actually make them feel worse about themselves and bring their mood down" I told her as I turned and raised an eyebrow as she continued grinning and I eventually let a smile grow on my face

"How's your thumb?"

"Oh it's fine! A slight scar but that's nothing. Just something I can show people and say it was something really dangerous that caused it-"

"Oh yes, because that singular nail in the broom shed is very dangerous, isn't it? Life threatening it is" I cut across her as we both shared a laugh while mum came in, two boxes in each of her hands as we were given one of each, one significantly small and the other about five, maybe six times bigger

"Here, an early gift. You'll get the others when we leave"

"Leave? Why are we leaving? Where are we going?" Holly asked quickly, her wrapping paper already on the ground as I sat on the arm of the couch and unwrapped the smaller present, finding a ring box as I pried it open and let a smile grow on my face as I looked at the silver ring, intricate swirls surrounding a green stone with blue lines running around it as I slipped it on. Opening the other box I looked at the bundle of chocolate frog boxes as I sighed quietly before putting them on the table

"You'll see. I'm going to go get your brother. Make sure you're ready" she told us before going as we nodded and Holly turned to me

"I don't wear rings"

"I know"

"I'll trade you the ring for half of your chocolate frogs-"

"Deal" I cut across her as she chucked me the box as I grinned at her and passed her a handful of chocolate frog boxes as I slid the ring onto the table, looking the exact same except having a white stone instead of green. Standing up, I walked into the hall with Holly as we were apparated out.

"Quick! Out of the rain!" Mum shouted as I walked up the steps, recognising where we were instantly while the other three raced ahead of me as I sighed quietly, walking in behind them as I shut the door, looking around the vast and empty hall with a slight sigh.

"Boo"

"Ahh" I replied lazily as I spun around, a grin growing on my face as I looked at the red hair and noticeable scarred and burned skin

"Charlie"

"Little Black" he grinned back as I went over and hugged him

"Well, you're not so little any more. But you're still small"

"And you're still dragon obsessed. What's your point?" I asked as we both started laughing before I stepped back and smiled at him

"You have so many fucking freckles-"

"You're one to talk!"

"Mine aren't as noticeable though"

"True true. Come on, let's go"
