"I would do anything for you"

"Good to know" Cedric mumbled as I glanced at him

"I would kill for you"

"Tell me what you're not saying"

"I may have of already killed for you"

"Yeah, that checks out" he muttered again before turning away as a smile grew on my face

"I love how you're not even going to reac-"

"Wait one fucking second!"

"There we are-"

"Who in the name of Merlin have you killed!?"

"I mean, I killed my will to live if that counts- are you feeling my pulse?!"

"Yes. You're still alive. It's fine, everything's fine" Cedric sighed as I stared at him and I was pulled into a hug as he kissed my head and I started laughing

"Of course I'm still alive you nitwit"

"Well you won't be dying on my watch"

"You can't control death Cedric"

"I'll try my best to do so"

"Wow" I scoffed as I looked at the grin on his face as we got up from the benches in the courtyard, turning to go in as I groaned

"No"

"Lia that's mean"

"Making me look at Holly is mean" I told Cedric as we both looked at Holly who was standing at the entrance of the courtyard with a smile

"See? Now that scares me"

"The fact she's smiling?"

"Yes, I don't like Holly smiling"

"I'm not sure if that's mean or not-"

"No, just honest" I told him amused as she came over and grabbed my arm as I took it away from her, wrapping my arms around Cedric's arm tightly as I stared at her and shook my head

"No"

"What? You don't even know what I was going to say"

"I don't want to know what you were going to say"

"Ow-"

"Holly, would you walk away for a moment?"

"Why?"

"Because you irritate me" I told her with a sigh as I rested my head against Cedric and looked at her with a small smile

"Oh wow. That's blunt"

"Blunt and honest, that's who I am. I couldn't  sugarcoat shit"

"No shit-"

"Exactly. Now, off you go. Do yourself a favour and trot off" I said to her while giving the motion of moving away as a scowl grew on her face and she turned around and stalked off

"That was rude Lia"

"No it wasn't, she's been getting on my nerves lately"

"She's your sister-"

"And I still have to spend pretty much the majority of every day in her presence"

"You're supposed to be nice to her-"

"No I'm not, anyway! I want you to try and name a more iconic duo than my fear of abandonment and my instinct to isolate myself from everyone and everything. I'll wait"

"Us"

"...okay" I answered quietly after a pause after he answered pretty much instantly as I glanced away from the grin on his face

"And where did that come from? You and your fear of abandonment and instinct to isolate, what did you mean by that?"

"Oh, Nothing nothing. Just me mumbling nonsense"

"Nonsense it is because you shouldn't be afraid of abandonment because I'll never leave and you'll never be alone" he told me as I was pulled into a hug as a grin grew on my face and I hugged him back with a quiet mumble
