49 - Realisation

Lavanya was waking up from her sleep feeling heavy and with sour muscles. Frowning her face she rolled to another side of the bed and started looking for her phone but she couldn't find it. So she opened her eyes with much difficulty and stared around to see  where she was. It wasn't her suite but somewhere else.  She could see the an  empty wine bottle on floor and two glasses beside that.

Lavanya quickly stood from the bed feeling flustered. She felt a sudden shiver on her skin and looked down to see what happened. Lavanya quickly pulled back the quilt towards her bare body and became frantic. She looked around to find that to whose room she came yesterday night after leaving from Dev's room.

Lavanya quickly crawled down from bed to grab her dress and wear it. That's when she heard a sound of bathroom door opening. She became completely numb when a white guy who  looked in his middle forties coming out from bathroom. She gulped a lump from her throat and took few steps back.

"Good morning sweet heart " hearing him Lavanya felt so disgusted and ran out from that room as soon as possible without saying anything.

" Hey ...... Lady...... " He went behind her but before that Lavanya escaped from there and frantically looked for elevator. Her suite was on 22th floor and she was now on 15th floor. Somehow she reached her room and shut the door.

Lavanya breaks down to the floor blaming herself for the stupidity she did and then she began to feel scared. She was afraid whether someone saw her with that white guy ? Or he might come and find her thinking that she is such a girl. Lavanya looked at her hands and bare skin feelings very disgusted and quickly ran to bathroom to take a shower. She wanted to forget everything and dump her memories that she even spent a night with that white man.

From there Lavanya's every plan was quick. She understood if things get lag then nothing will be in her control. Dev is now waiting to find a solid reason to reject Lavanya. If he gets to know what she did after getting drunk and that's with a complete stranger he won't see anything. Now there isn't any difference between Lakshmi and her with which Lavanya was cornering her. Also Dev will use this matter and pull out from the marriage proposal.Lavanya quickly took her phone and called Dev's aunt Varada.

" Lavanya do you know what's the time now? Why you.... " Varda was in her deep sleep when Lavanya called her. She didn't even let Dev's aunt to say anything unnecessary and started telling her about a serious matter.

" What I am going to say right now is very important. You can't ask anything back, just obey me. Understand ? " Lavanya asked and Varada was little surprised by the tone she used on her. It was authoritative , demanding and an ordering tone which Varada doesn't like.

" When Dev and I come back to Mumbai after this LA trip media should be filled with our engagement news. " the way Lavanya said that and the silence from other side showed how shocking and confusing that was for Varada.

"But Lavanya..... "

" I told don't say anything to me. If you want to see Dev beside you forever then you should do this. Because your dear Dev is not that same Dev anymore. More than his aunt's words he again started to think by his own. Do you want to repeat the history ? One Nisha was more than enough in his life right ? " Lavanya asked in a serious tone

" Are you talking about Lakshmi ? " Varada asked doubtfully and Lavanya didn't give any reply for that.

" If she comes back to his life then neither of us can't separate them. Lakshmi is not Nisha so things won't be same as before. Also Dev has a different corner for Lakshmi which he didn't even gave to Nisha. Agrah..... Whatever. I don't want to admit that. "
Lavanya shut her eyes feeling anger thinking about Dev and Lakshmi she felt like she is getting mad.
