54 - Complicated life

Aadhya kept on watching Lakshmi doing the house chores from early morning itself. That was really something which she gets to see for the first time. Aadhya couldn't believe that it was her sister only. Girl who was a drama queen all the time in their house, brought up like a princess by her dad is now working as a maid in someone's else house.

Aadhya wanted to talk with her sister about her school related  matters but watching her sister running everywhere in a hurry to finish the alloted work she didn't say anything. It was kind of guilt feeling for Aadhya that Lechu is doing her work also and only because of that no one is coming and whining at Aadhya.

Time goes like that and Aadhya got ready for her school. It's been around one week she didn't went there. While looking at her crumbled uniform Aadhya even felt like not to go in that condition. Still Lechu didn't allowed her to sit there. She somehow wear that uniform and tried to straighten it with her hands.  Then packed everything inside her bag and came out from their room in a hurry to leave.

" Dad....I am leav..... " While adjusting her skirt she called for her dad like she used to do everyday. That's when she realised things have changed in her life a lot. It was different like sky and land.

Time was only eight in the morning so she won't get  breakfast and lunch is not even in her list. Lechu was nowhere to see. Aadhya took a deep breath and walked from there to leave as early as possible. Distance was long to her school from Rathore villa. So new routes will take some time to get used for her.

" Aadhya......" She heard her sister calling from her back and Aadhya turned back to see why she called her.

" You didn't even tell me you are leaving. " Lechu said while breathing heavily.

Aadhya looked at her sister from head to toe who was panting heavily. Lechu took Aadhya's bag from her hand and   kept the packed lunch for her.

" I would have ate it from school cafeteria" Aadhya mumbled.

" You should pay for that right ? I know you like to eat it along with your friends but adjust with this for few days. I will solve that issue somehow " Lechu replied and smiled at her.

Aadhya was staring at her sister's condition that time. She looked so pale, messed up hair, tired eyes and dark circles. Those who knows Lakshmi won't be able to recognise her in this condition.

When Aadhya passed the small gate for pedestrians to go out Dev's car came there through the main gate. Dev was in driving seat. He saw Aadhya leaving from house through his car's the side mirror. In that dress he guessed she is going to school and it was a relief actually. Accordingly to what his dadi and aunt decided his mind was disturbed all these time. He thought his aunt won't let Aadhya go to school from there on that's why he came to back to house early morning expecting for a verbal fight with his aunt.

Dev entered into the house and looked around. One maid who saw Dev in the house quickly went to inform Varada. After few seconds his aunt came there very happily to see Dev.

"Dev.... " She came and hugged him tightly.

" I just came to take some of my things and few documents. I will leave now itself " Dev said in a serious tone and didn't showed any happiness seeing his aunt.

" Dev.... Dadi said like that because of her anger during that time. You shouldn't have talked back to her that's why things went wrong. Literally you insulted us infront of Lavanya's parents. You don't need to consider me but you should have think about your dadi. " Varada took him to dining hall and talked to him to drop his stubbornness and apologize to dadi.
