72 - For her

Lakshmi heared a huge noise and opened her eyes to see what happened. She saw a Range Rover rammed right into that Jeep from back. Fearfully she tried to wake up from the floor thinking that it's another danger for her.
Behind that Range Rover Lakshmi saw a black Rolls-Royce. Her heart beat went faster sensing the situation is not getting favourable for her. But to her surprise Dev stepped out from that Rolls-Royce and Zahir stepped down from that Range Rover.

Seeing him Lakshmi was relieved a bit also Zahir was there. He raged towards the jeep and pulled out those two who tried to kill Lakshmi. Dev quickly came near to her and helped her getting up from the road. Lakshmi was crying badly . She was really scared as she just saw her own death right in front of her. If Dev wouldn't have come there on time she couldn't even imagine what might have happened.

Those goons tried to escape from Zahir's grip but he alone was enough to handle those two. Beating them to a pulp Zahir made them knelt on the floor to enquire about the master brain behind their action. 

Dev was still mad at Lakshmi but at the same time he was scared thinking about something bad would have happened to Lakshmi. He didn't utter a single word to her but he was so concerned about her injuries. Dev made her sit inside his car very carefully and give some some water to drink.  When she choked some water he even rubbed her back to make it easy. More than that Lakshmi just wanted a hug from him. She wanted someone to embrace her so that she might feel better. Just like how her appa used to do.

Dev would have definitely do that if he wasn't mad at Lakshmi with Yuvi's matter. He closed the door of his car and went to Zahir's side. To their surprise suddenly there came few other people in an old junk Scorpio. Dev and Zahir looked at each other not understanding what is happening. Meanwhile those two goons who tried to kill Lakshmi escaped from Zahir's grip and ran for their life but the other goons who came stood in front of Dev and Zahir for a fight.

Lakshmi was also confused about the situation. She frantically looked around and watched those goons. They are many in numbers. When she tried to open the car door Dev locked it with the car key remote in his hand. Lakshmi looked at Dev through the windshield sadly. She doesn't want to see him hurt and that's in front of her eyes. Her eyes were constantly begging at him not get hurt.

It doesn't took much time to start a huge fight between them. Zahir and Dev defended their best with those goons. Zahir wanted to save Dev's life first, his job is to gaurd his boss. Dev was also really good with his fighting skills. One thing it was understood that these new goons target was Dev not Lakshmi because none of them even tried to open the car door and hurt her.

Lakshmi couldn't watch Dev getting hurt even though he was trying his best to fight back. She looked for phone which fell somewhere during the accident. Things went worst when one of them used a knife to attack Dev. Inbetween their fight Dev got a severe cut on his right hand biceps. Before next swing Zahir came between and took that on him.

Lakshmi understand that they are not going to withstand with those goons for more. She wanted to call for help or do something. Lakshmi moved towards the driver seat and searched for the unlock button. Since that car was new for her she had to find it's functions first. Finally Lakshmi opened the car door and came out. Biting her nails she looked around to see what she could do.

Lakshmi's eyes caught on the Range Rover which Zahir rammed into the SUV and it's key was still there. She quickly stepped into the driver seat and tried to start it. Fortunately the car was in good condition and she used her driving skills to take it out from there. Road was not that much big to turn or take reverse but still she did it. After that Lakshmi didn't think much she pressed her leg on the accelerator and drove right through those goons making them jump towards the sides not to get hit by the car.
