43 - The other face

Dev and Zahir were looking for Lechu very frantically around streets but they couldn't find her anywhere.

"Where this girl went in nick of time?" Dev grunted and got worried more when there is no news about Lechu.

"Lakshmi stopped in front of this shop. I saw that and walked ahead because she will follow us after take a look at it. I think she missed us from here" Zahir said to Dev while standing in front the shop where Lechu saw Samay.

"She isn't a small child to get miss in this crowd and someone should be with her all the time. I am sure she will be standing in front of some shop near by" Lavanya commented annoyingly. Dev clenched his jaw hearing her but didn't say anything.

"But we are right now in a strange country. If it was Mumbai then its fine she will come back by her own but this is" Zahir said Lavanya.

"What about her cell phone? Isn't that connecting" Lavanya asked

"It's ringing but she is not taking it" Dev replied while running his eyes all around in that crowd not leaving an inch space.

"Then we should complain to police" Lavanya suggested.

DD I think that's the right option" Zahir also agreed with it and they saw the patrolling officers who stood there. Dev quickly went to their side and explained them about the missing of his wife. Since its only ten fifteen minutes passed and the missing is an adult, officers couldn't register it as a case instead they helped them to find Lechu and asked Dev to send a photo of Lakshmi. Dev quickly did like that and they continue searching for Lechu.

Following Samay Lechu didn't even realised to which direction she came and now she was away from the crowd. It looked like an old street where there wasn't much crowd or anything. It looked like an old factory area. Lechu raked her hand on hair when she lost Samay and looked around to see the place. That's when she understands where she got trapped. No idea about direction and through which way she came there.

A nervous and scared Lechu took her phone from the sling bag and tried to connect Zahir. She saw several missed calls from Dev and Zahir. She didn't attend them or didn't hear when she went chasing Samay. Just a second before she could keep the phone towards her ear a hand came from nowhere and covered Lechu's mouth. She didn't even get a second to scream or escape from there. Lechu struggled and to release her from that man's grip. He was strong had a well build body.

"Stop struggling girl. From this night you are not going to see the outer world." Lechu understood it was Samay from his voice. Lechu somehow bite on his hand and escaped from his grip and tried to run.

"Stop there you bitch" Samay shouted and raged towards Lechu and get a hold on her hair. Lechu jerked back and fell on floor. Samay was treating her mercilessly without even considering she is a human being.

"Samay ..... Leave me. What the hell you want from me now?" Lechu shouted when he dragged her through the road holding on her hair. After hearing her question Samay stopped for a second and started to laugh cynically.

"What I want from you? I want you girl. At very first when I met you I never knew that you are a golden duck. Today my survival is within your hands so no matter what I have to take you with Me." Samay replied.

Lechu didn't understand what he meant by that. But that time she just wanted to escape from his custody and Samay looked like a creep. She feared he might kill her. Lechu crawled and tried to stand from road but holding on her ankle he pulled her back.
