"Did you get them or not? I want a simple answer to that question not your story" Dev was talking with Carlos through the phone about the gang who attacked Lechu. He gave him 24 hours  in order to find about them now that 24 hours is over. Also Lechu was now out from ICU and shifted to room.

"Yes I got him but..."

"Bring him to me. Rest I will handle" Dev said and he wasn't even ready to hear what Carlos wanted say. Soon after Carlos said he got those goons Dev wanted to meet him as soon as possible.

"DD.... Listen to me. I could only able to catch his tails. I can't even call them as his tails because they were hired by that one guy. My gang did everything to make those kids to spill the beans but they don't know who hired them. They don't know anything about him like his name, his address, what he does. He contacts them through a number which I checked but it's a burner phone. " Carlos was talking to Dev with at most respect and some fear in his voice.

"You couldn't even catch a mere guy? Shall we sit and talk about our deals once again Carlos? I think it's time for us to revise our agreement" Dev said like a warning. He wasn't ready for any compromise other than getting Samay in his hands and for that he even started to blackmail Carlos.

"DD..... You are now putting me in a difficult position. I am trying but he is indeed a clever guy. His name, details, even his existence is fake. With the police data itself we couldn't trace him from Thailand. That's how he is hiding in this country as an illegal migrant. But one thing is there whoever he tried to hurt for wasn't just an extortion case but something else is there. From what these guys  said..... He never asked them to kidnap anyone but they only did some smuggling to earn money."

"This was the first he wanted to kidnap  a girl. He said to them that  she is golden duck who is going to give them fortune. Definitely he planned for a kidnap but in return for hefty ransom money from you. Which means he knew that who is that girl and her relation with you? This could have also ended up into human trafficking. What you should do now is ... stop running behind him."

"Leave from here with that girl as soon as possible. It's not that much easy for him to run back to his homeland. This is the best I can do..... Please try to understand me DD. You know Carlos Tapia never requested to anyone. It's only with you... please don't leave my hands. I am trying to live a good life after stopping all these illegal activities after joining hands with you. I will be loyal to my saviour who decided to help me giving a chance to start afresh" Carlos begged to Dev after giving him all information Carlos got.

Dev was silent for some long. Carlos didn't cut the call and waited for Dev's response. He let Dev to think properly and didn't made any disturbance for Dev. That's why such a pin drop silence remained there.

"Alright...... but you should do one more help" Dev said to Carlos.

""anything you says. I am on your service DD" said Carlos

"Chase him back to India. Take your time .... you don't need to catch him but chase him until he flew back to where he came from or take his own life from here itself. I don't care who the hell he is" saying this much Dev cut the call.

"What happened?" watching a smile on Dev's face Zahir enquired about the situation. He clearly heard Carlos couldn't find the main person who attacked Lechu. So Zahir expected a furious Dev but what he gets to see was a smiling dev.

"Why would someone want to kill my wife?" Dev asked to Zahir.

"Huh? What are you saying?" Zahir looked at Dev dumbfounded.
