Writer's Pov

" Do you  think that I am still a small girl ? That's why you are standing in front of this gate with an umbrella ? " Lechu ran to Govind's side and whined at him after getting into the umbrella. She was looking at him with her witty smile and sad eyes. Govind just looked at them for few seconds and diverted his gaze not able to watch it then made a sweet angry face.

" Your appa has sixth sense. I knew that you will be coming here drenching completely. " Govind replied. Lechu frowned her eyebrows and pouted at him.

" Come we will go inside and talk. I have many things to say " Lechu held on Govind's hand and pulled him to open the gate. That's when she noticed that huge lock on it. Lechu looked at Govind with a confused face.

" It's under maintenance work so for now Aadhya and I are staying in a rented house little away from here. We will go there for now Lechu. " Govind said to her. He was expecting many questions from his daughter but she didn't say anything. Lechu was understanding things slowly and realised the fact that Dev did like he said. Finally he brought them to streets and left without a roof.

" Is it ? Alright then we go there. What's the big deal ?  I came to stay with you not with this house. Come we go there " Lechu said pretending to be normal and happy. He also shook head like things are normal.

" Appa ..... Let's take him too. He is a good boy " before leaving Lechu pointed her finger at tiger who was still waiting there. Govind smiled at her and agreed they will take tiger with him.

When Lechu stepped out from rickshaw and saw the place where they are living now her heart sank. But she knew that it was not the right time to breakdown or say something inappropriate. She thought to come and cry falling into her appa's arms letting out all pain and confessing everything but she couldn't. Sometimes silence and pretending like nothing happened is the best solution for such situations.

While climbing each steps Lechu looked at the surroundings disheartened. She couldn't even imagine that her appa and Aadhya had to go through such a miserable life because of her. When Lechu was of Aadhya's age she enjoyed her life most like a princess. But now her little sister is in such a place and not even complaining about anything.

Aadhya opened the door for them when Govind called her. Lechu carried tiger into the house in her hand and kept him to a corner giving him a blanket.

Aadhya was noticing the weired silence between Lechu and Govind. He went inside his room without saying anything and closed the door.

" Why you came here now ? Where is my sweet jeeju ? " Aadhya asked to Lechu in a mocking tone.

" This isn't your home then why you are showing this much of attitude ? You go girl ..... "

" Also your sweet jeeju has gone for a trip that's why I came here. Definitely not for you but to stay with my appa. Happy now ? " Lechu made a funny face at Aadhya and went to her room flipping those wet hair.

" That's my room... " Aadhya ran behind Lechu whining and they started their sister fight.

Govind was hearing all these standing behind the closed door. He breaks down watching her daughter trying so hard to hold everything back and pretend like she is all good and happy with her life.

He opened those crumbled divorce papers and looked at it. He didn't understand what's next and how he is gonna face his daughter. He believes that because of him Lechu had to go through all these mishaps and cursed himself.

" Hey , where is your phone girl ? Why you didn't called me and say that you both changed the house ? " After keeping her bag to a side and changing to something normal Lechu talked to Aadhya in detail about the house.
