WARNING:- NOT PROOFREAD
"Parth, it's okay. Let me do it by myself as all the casts were gone now." Avni screamed at Parth, who's busy shoving the Aloo Paratha morsel into her mouth.
Parth who didn't pay any heed to her checked the time before dipping the morsel in Achaar.
"I think that Manish will come to meet you today at the office. Be careful." He warned her which came out as a concern for his best friend.
"Yeah, fine." Avni complied with his warning while nodding her head.
"I think, it's time to execute everything we've been planning." Parth showed his doubt. Avni dispersed into her thoughts land.
Seeing no reaction from her, Parth shook her by her shoulder, breaking her trance.
"Bittu, let's go. We'll be late if this continues." Avni ushered him out of their flat, fetching her mobile with her.
It's been a week or more than it, she has stepped into the office. All these days, she's been ignoring the reality which didn't leave her even in her dreams, chasing her from the past.
Shrugging all the thoughts aside, Avni sat in the passenger seat as Parth won't let her drive.
"I'll be in your cabin today." Avni snapped out of her thoughts when these lines processed through her busy mind.
"Huh?" She raised her brows a few centimeters above, helping in Parth knowing that she hadn't heard a single thing he's blabbering.
Cursing himself under his breath for not to see her zoned out beforehand, Parth shook his head mouthing nothing.
"Ayesha, be careful, okay?" That's the nth time, Parth suggesting her, that day.
"Okay, my dear Bittu." Avni chuckled, pinching his cheeks causing pain. Parth hissed and a little Yelp left his throat. Avni left his cheeks at the yelp as they've reached their office.
"Don't do that, Ayesha. It's paining a lot and we are not kids anymore." He grunted while rubbing his cheeks with both hands, to soothe the pain.
Both of them are walking towards the elevator after parking their car in the cellar.
"Yeah, I agree we are not kids anymore, but you're my Bittu forever, na!" Avni grinned, reaching his Height to pull his cheeks, again.
"No..." Parth whined, covering his cheeks with his palms, running into the elevator followed by Avni, laughing heartily.
"Avni, yaar, no, please. It's paining!" Parth kept whining, placing his face on the lift's cold surface, escaping from his prying best friend.
"Haha... Hahaha... Okay fine!" Avni spared him. Not because he pleaded with her, but, they've reached their floor. Postponing her task to irritate him for the evening, Avni walked out of the elevator with her usual swag, with her best friend tagging along.
The whole floor echoed with a good morning from the employees who are not so happy to see their boss back that early. They had expected a delay so that they could enjoy their happy days but the devil is back and they have to put the end to their happy days.
Nodding her head at them, Avni entered her cabin only to receive the air filled with the smell of Orchids.
Avni glanced at her table to come across a bouquet of Orchids and bit to forget, a card attached to it, saying welcome back.
Parth and Avni looked at each other briefly, before bursting out, with their laughter echoing in the cabin.
Composing themselves, they sat in the chairs. Parth taking the bouquet and Avni taking the tiny card. They sure know from where it is. The person awaiting her, Neil Khanna.
