7. A New Trap

Avni was all set with a New plan to Trap the only Heir of Prakash Khanna: Neil Khanna. Everybody has their own Priorities, Strengths, and weaknesses in life and if you ask What's Mr. Khanna's: The answer will definitely be a Single Word--His Only Son, Neil. Being the only Heir of his, Prakash Khanna was always proud of Neil and in whatever he does. 

Be it in Business, in Family, or in Love. Mr. Khanna was more than happy when he came to know about the equation between both Neil and Maya: The only Heir of Mr. Jai Singh because he very well knows the perks of being in a relationship with the latter, that is, THE PROPERTY, which will be given to MAYA when she gets married. And now, Maya is in Love with Neil, so is Neil. Ah Ah, so was Neil. The latter was distracted from Maya and his love the moment he kissed Avni. Avni realized that she is his Distraction as well as Destruction. Now, grabbing that opportunity,  Avni laid a neat bait for Neil Khanna so that she can Ruin them emotionally in-person as well, Which is why she deliberately ignored Neil in the morning, so that he would come to her wailing his tail as a Puppy. 

It's been forty minutes since Avni left ignoring him and Neil is pacing to and fro in his cabin. He was sure of her being her won't talk to him but him being another one in her presence is not what he thought. He was becoming an entirely different person in front of her and he can realize that also. He's acting as a love-smitten, who was scared to approach the girl and propose. He hasn't had a proper sleep yesterday night as he left her place and reached his. His phone buzzed with calls and messages from so many who found out that he left the party abruptly; including his DAD. But at that moment he didn't felt like going back to the party. 

He was hell-bent on talking with Avni today itself but it's 2 PM: lunch break in the office and let alone talking to her, he felt he can't go and meet her also. Bracing himself up, Neil reached in front of Avni's cabin and knocked it twice.

There is no response on the other side. I knew this will happen, Neil thought. Knocking again, he went inside the cabin before thinking twice to witness Avni, there in her seat licking the ice-cream cone. Neil was blank for a minute before clearing his throat to gain her attention; because she didn't shot a single glance at this 5'11 figure, standing in front of her a bit awkwardly. "Ahem Ahem" 

That's when she turned her attention from ice-cream to him, but that's just only for a sec, she averted her eyes. 

"This is a Break, you can come later," Avni said not moving an inch from her place, again not looking at him, which infuriated Neil a bit, but composing himself, he replied.

 "I'm not here for a formal talk." He informed her why he was here, though she already knew what brings him here.

 "It's my workplace were only formal meetings and talks ought to happen, not a thing more" Avni replied curtly while Neil felt like she indirectly said get out from here, which is true also. 

"Then where should I talk to you? At your place? I'm okay with it." Saying so, Neil moved out of her cabin, slamming the door shut behind him, leaving a smirking Avni inside and punching the wall in front. 

Avni  

I know this will happen, Neil Khanna. I know my words will infuriate you and despite that, you keep coming back to me. And you should also. You made me go through the same hell, last night, which reminds me of your Dad, who introduced me to that pain. They made me suffer all these years and now it's your payback time. I want nothing in return but seeing y'all suffer, just like me. Go through the pain every day. Do you know what's your fault, Neil? You being that Prakash Khanna's son and same applies to you, Maya. If you're the heirs of their Property; What they earned all these years, you should take their Sins as yours right. Which they earned by destroying so many lives and now Living like a saint. Of course, you should take all of that. You're born as their child, not only for sharing their Happy moments or be a part in every Happy occasion but also to be a part of their Sins. To Pay for those sins and That is Karma.

Neil sat there in his cabin after coming back from Avni's and kept thinking about what happened in Avni's cabin again and again. She ignored him deliberately and he was not the person who tolerates that. He's not gonna listen to anybody until she talks to him. He made a plan to go to her place this evening, to sort out everything. 

Only he knew about Avni and her ploys. She doesn't know how to play chess but definitely knows how to weave plots and play games with lives. She was taught all these long back. She doesn't know how to Sympathize because it was not shown by any, in her life. She don't know how to Love, but beloved, because all her life, she just was in a Quest to destroy the people who destroyed her, years back. And she will reach her aim, which she's living for, no matter what comes her way. Be it pretending to Love someone or Killing that Someone for her revenge, she can do all of that.
