"What the fuck? Are you serious?" Parth screamed at Avni with his widened eyes in wonder.
He came back late at night for Avni's sake from Pune and Avni left the Party after an hour to their Announcement. Though Neil tried to talk to her and stop her, Avni left the place pretending a grumpy face.
"Yes, Bittu." Avni squealed with a big smile on her face.
Parth smiled for the next minute but soon his smile faded to form a frown. Avni shook him looking at his face.
"What?" She asked him to which Parth shook his head.
"That is okay, but, why are we happy about that? I mean it doesn't matter for us if our plan concerns, right?" He asked confused.
"You're right, Bittu. But, I'm thinking why not use these things to do whatever we are gonna do? What say?" She asked him while Parth's still not got the profit they gain by this. But anyways nodded his head at his best friend.
"Let it be. Did you eat something?" He asked her. Avni nodded her head in no to his question.
"But, I'm not hungry." She said with a face.
"That is not my concern. It's one in the night and you're coming with me to eat." Parth ordered dragging Avni along with him.
Locking the door behind, they both walked to the lift in silence. Parth sat on the driver seat and gestured Avni to wear the seatbelt to which she complied.
Going on with the thoughts scaring them, they've reached a place which has so many memories bound with.
A smile etched on Avni's face and unknown to him, Parth chuckled. Avni glanced at him, lifting her brows. He shook his head at the unasked question of hers.
"So many memories..." Parth paused to take a brief look at Avni and the place. Avni nodded her head with her eyes scanning the place.
"Let's eat?" Avni asked licking her lips. Parth chuckled at the comeback of his best friend.
"Yeah. Chalo..." He led both of them to a table after parking the car far away as the place is crowded.

"Hello?" Maya mumbled into her phone not even opening her eyes at the midnight intruder of her peaceful sleep. Not to forget, after a tiring day. Neil was dying to ask all of them that why did they announce their wedding all so sudden and without telling him.
But, Maya and the family excused themselves saying they're so tired and will talk tomorrow. Having no other choice, Neil left the place before anyone does.
"Ms. Maya Jai Singh is sleeping? It's not what devils do at night, right?" Akshay smirked at the pictures he's clicked a few days back while talking to Maya.
"What rubbish, Akshay?" Maya groaned, trying to open her eyes.
"Tired for the day? Done with the B'day wishes?" Akshay asked with a sly smile on his face. "But, how could you go to sleep without me wishing you on your birthday? Tell me?" He said, irritating Maya to the edge.
"Akshay, I'll slap you in the..." "Oh wait... wait." Akshay interrupted Maya. Maya sighed in exhaustion.
"First things first. I called you to tell you something really important." Maya sat straight in her place hearing him all so serious.
"What?" Maya asked with the silence growing.
"Happy Birthday, Maya." He said with utter seriousness in his voice that Maya was in shock for a moment, comprehending what he said.
"What the fuck?" Maya yelled after a few seconds. Akshay burst out at her yell. "How... I'll chop you into pieces, you moron," Maya screamed. Akshay didn't pay any heed to her screams and kept laughing.
Maya who was irritated to the core was about to cut the call but stopped hearing Akshay's next words.
"Actually, I had really called to tell you something important, Maya. But stopped realizing that it's your birthday and I should wish you first." Maya calmed down a bit still bubbling in anger.
"Tell me what it is..." Maya said with her stern voice enhancing her personality.
"So... I'm still working on this Avni, but, didn't find much, but, um..." "But, what?" Maya interrupted, anticipated at his pause.
"Don't scream yaar, I'm coming to the point." Akshay shook his head.
"So, the Manager of Aashini Publications, Parth- no surname, is spotted in Delhi a few days back with a middle-aged or something as I couldn't decipher the age of the guy. The thing is, he's an Orphan. So who would be that guy, we're still getting to know. But as we've clicked a few pictures and we have to update it to you to show the progress in our work, here are they. I've sent them to you and you can check them on your phone." Akshay finished while Maya was already on her way checking the pictures.
"Is that it?" She asked him while downloading the pictures.
"As of now, yes, Ma'am." He said with the sarcasm intact. Maya rolled her eyes before cutting the call.
"Huh..." Maya zoomed the pictures for a better view. "I think I've seen him somewhere. But, where? My memory isn't some fragile thing to forget someone whom I strongly feel I know."
Maya tapped on her temple to memorize the person. But, after a few failed attempts, she gave up and went to sleep.
Turning and Tossing on the bed for almost an hour, Maya sat straight with her phone in her hands.
"Who are you man?" Maya talked to herself while staring at the picture. "May be that Parth's father? May be he lied that he's an orphan? But, is that possible? I mean, how can a person lie that their parents are dead when they are not? If parth did also, why? What's the need? I mean... Could it be what i am thinking? Or am i thinking too impossible? How to get it know? May be with Dad's help? Yes!" Maya clapped her palms.
"Dad will help." Coming out of her bed, Maya clutched her door but stopped as she realized whats the time now.
"Dda was tired and obviously must be sleeping right now. Ill ask him tomorrow. So, now no worries, Maya Jai Singh. Yes. Lets sleep." Sighing in relief, Maya went back to sleep, thinking about the stranger in her phone, who definitely is not.
She has forgot that he's someone who brings back her childhood memories. Of, Ayesha and Neil who madly runs behind her.
Unknown to all of this, Maya slipped into a deep slumber.
