"Okay, Dad! I'll be fine and this is not the first time I'm staying away from you right!" Avni screamed into her phone, accelerating her car at a fast pace in the accident-prone area.
It's past 7'o clock, in the evening, Avni is returning from the office after bearing all the caring from Neil Khanna, the very next day. But to Avni's bad luck, Maya didn't attend to advice that day, to witness all this caring towards her and drag Neil out of it.
"Avni!" Her Dad was about to warn her but she cut him across, bidding him a Bye and Good Night. Only, if she knew that it would be good or bad!
As she cut the call and was about to decrease the speed, A truck came her way from the opposite side, brushing the sides of Avni's car, which lead to the events, generally called ACCIDENT.
Avni's car skid and bumped into a tree nearby and before she could process anything, she lost her consciousness.
The truck driver was long gone to even catch a glimpse. People passing by caught the events took place, rushed towards her car. A man who's in his late forties tried to wake an unconscious Avni, after breaking the windowpane and dragging her out of the destroyed car, which is now releasing smoke from its front.
"We should take her to the hospital!" The man screamed at the people who are stood still, witnessing the circus going on. He glanced at a middle-aged woman, who's looking at him anxiously.
"Sir, there's a phone." A guy in his mid-twenties screamed while running towards his car.
"Thank you!" He said, scared about the stranger lying in his car in a pool of blood, with her head in his wife's lap.
What felt like an eternity, they reached a small clinic nearby and managed to carry her into it and some compounder took her into a room followed by a lady in her late forties with a stethoscope.
Few minutes passed by! The couple sat on the chairs, clutching each other's hands, in anticipation. After a minute or so, a nurse strode towards them with a file in her hands and before she speaks, the phone in his pocket rang, fetching the attention of People and Nurses.
"Sir, it's a Hospital!" She announced while the person cut the call with his shaky hands.
"You've to fill the form, regarding patient! You can go there and fetch a pen for yourself!" He couldn't help but nod his head at the nurse, who left them, disappearing into the same room from where she came a few minutes ago.
"What's going on, Chaya?" He asked his wife, who's walking beside him, with his hand in hers. She sighed, glancing at him.
"I've never ever seen someone in an accident!" He confessed, looking scared at the events that took place in just a few hours. "Is this is what the accident looks like?" He asked her, looking all confused at her.
Chaya couldn't help but caress her husband's palms. The person standing in front of her is not her husband anymore. Now, this is the scared kid in him, with his naked soul on his sleeves. She can't do anything about it, except calm him down as of now.
"Surya..." Chaya made him sit on a chair near the front desk and sat beside him. "It's okay! It happens!" She didn't know what to say to calm her terrified husband, but these words. "It happens in life." She declared, caressing his arm.
Nodding his head at her, he saw the papers in his hands, flipping cause of the wind. The phone in his shirt pocket buzzed again. Surya looked at his wife, who gestured him to take the call.
"He...Hello!" Surya's voice shivered. "Who are you? Where's Avni?" Came the male voice from the other side, petrifying Surya.
"The girl met with an accident! She..." "What?" His scream has cut Surya across. "Whe...Where?" He asked, composing himself.
