"Hime chan, are you going to participate in the chunin exam?" asked Naruto.
"I don't know. I think I am not strong enough," said Hinata.
"But I believe you are," said Naruto.
It was currently night, and Naruto was having a sleepover with Hyuga. He had rushed to her house after dinner with the Iwa team.
"Really?" asked Hinata with hope in her eyes.
"Yes! We have been working on your technique furiously. You are very strong," said Naruto.
"Thank you Naruto kun," said Hinata as she hugged him.
For a few moments, they stayed in that position, after which they heard Hitome coughing.
"Are aniki and aneki in love?" asked Hanabi innocently, causing Naruto and Hinata to turn bright red and Hitome to burst laughing.
"It does seem so," said Hitome.
"Mom!" yelled Hinata at such volume which wasn't expected from Hinata.
Meanwhile, Naruto was just red, sitting there, frozen.
"Aniki, aniki, what happened?" asked Hanabi.
"Huh? Nothing," said Naruto.
"Say Naruto, are you going to use Amaya during exams?" asked Hitome.
"If needed," said Naruto.
"And Kurama's chakra?" she asked.
"No," said Naruto.
"Why?" asked Hitome.
"I want to win and pass on my own. Plus if people knew I used Kurama's chakra, they would panic," said Naruto.
"Fair enough," said Hitome.
Suddenly, a fox came into the room.
"Jiro, what's the information?" asked Naruto.
"Naruto sama. Danzo is still secretly operating root. He has bases set in the west of Konoha, in a cave near the hill towards the north, and one near the big lake. He is also constantly meeting with Orochimaru's spies," said Jiro.
"Good. Keep up the good work, and drop the sama," said Naruto.
"Hai Naruto sama," said Jiro as Naruto facepalmed, causing the other three to burst laughing.
Jiro then disappeared.
"What was that Naruto?" asked Hitome.
"Danzo. He has been constantly doing shady stuff. He has been an ally of Orochimaru for a long time, he was behind the Uchiha massacre, and he also has kept root active even after Jiji's orders," said Naruto.
He then took out a diary and started noting some stuff.
"What is that?" asked Hitome.
"It's my diary, protected by blood seal and chakra seal. No one except me can open it, as it has some extremely secretive information. I can't tell anyone what's in this as the more people know, the more they are in danger," said Naruto.
"Whoa! What does it have?" asked Hitome.
"Some of the S-rank secrets Jiji told me, the work regarding the group after people like me I have been doing, results of the spy work Jiro has done for me, and other stuff," said Naruto.
"Wow!" said Hitome.
