Chapter 3

Kakashi and Naruto were standing in front of each other, with Tsunade, Shizune, Sakura Karin, Hinata, Anko, and Konohamaru's squad along with Hanabi watching from the sidelines. Anko had a mission to do so she had to go.

"Alright. To make this fair, Naruto, you're prohibited to use Kurama's chakra or Amaya. And Kakashi, you must use your Sharingan," said Tsunade.

"Isn't that a little too much?" asked Kakashi.

"trust me, after hearing Jiraiya's report, I am considering prohibiting the use of Hiraishin too," said Tsunade.

"Baa chan, that's too much," whined Naruto.

"Shut up and fight. This fight will influence your promotion," said Tsunade with a tick mark.

During the training journey, Naruto along with Jiraiya had also done many missions. To be accurate, the duo had 73 C-rank, 89 B-rank, 38 A-rank, and 23 S-rank under their belt. So Naruto's record was more than good enough to be promoted to Jonin, hell, he could even be compared to Elite jonin. He only had failed one mission, and that was Sasuke retrieval mission. But even that was supposed to go that way only. So Naruto's record was spotless.

"Alright! Let's go," said Naruto as he lazily threw a few kunai. Kakashi countered it with his own, and soon the area was covered with kunais.

"Shadow clone jutsu," said Naruto getting serious, and 3 clones came into existence.

The clones started to assault Kakashi as he tried to deliver the finishing blow, however each time he failed.

After three minutes, the clones were popped by Kakashi as Naruto, whose eyes were closed, opened his eyes.

Kakashi ran forward to punch Naruto but he disappeared and reappeared instantly and then went on to kick Kakashi in the stomach which Kakashi avoided narrowly. The next moment Kakashi hurled a kunai at him which he grabbed using his index and middle finger.

"Boom," said Kakashi as it exploded, but Naruto had gotten wind of it and had thrown it soon enough to avoid any major damage.

"That was nice strategy Kaka nii, throwing the kunai slow enough so that I would catch it and take the bait," said Naruto as he then did a few hand signs.

"However, I am a seal master," said Naruto as he slammed his hand on the ground as Kanji started flowing out of his hand.

"Ah shit, now he doesn't need to draw or do anything," said Kakashi just as a large amount of water came out of the seal drawn on the ground, drenching Kakashi.

"Lightning Release: Thunderbolt," said Naruto as his hands released a few bolts of lightning going towards Kakashi.

"Earth Release: Mud wall," he said slamming his hand on the ground as a wall of the earth came out defending him from the lightning bolt.

"Fire Release: Dragon Fire."

"Wind Release: Air Bullet."

The jutsu collided causing a huge explosion kicking up dust clouds.

The next moment Kakashi came out of the cloud and once again engaged in Taijutsu with Naruto.

He went ahead to kick him but Naruto disappeared. He then tried to grab him but once again he disappeared. He tried to punch him but he dodged while leaning on Kakashi's back.
