"Dad!" Dean's voice shouted, snapping you out of your thoughts to find your brothers and Cas rushing out the kitchen after your father who was already out the front door.

Okay, what the fuck is going on?

Suddenly, Daryl grabbed your shoulder causing you to flinch in surprise because you didn't even see or hear him move from the bench across the room.

"Ya good?" He quickly questioned, concern lacing his voice and you simply nodded. "John's goin' to go lock himself up. C'mon." Daryl explained, grabbing your hand as he pulled you towards the door.

If you had time to process anything, you would've been more focused on the fact that Daryl wanted to help stop John from locking himself up because you knew how Daryl felt about Negan and you knew all Daryl saw was Negan whenever he looked at John. But, you didn't have anytime to dwell over it or think to much because the moment Daryl pulled you outside, you realised there was a shouting match happening between your brother and Rick.

"You let Negan out?!" Rick yelled, his pistol already drawn and aimed at your father.

"Grimes, drop it." Dean ordered, drawing his own handgun.

"Shit." Daryl muttered from beside you.

Without hesitation you teleported across the road and landed between the gunfight.

"You guys are friends! Lower the fucking guns!" You shouted, holding your hands up at both of them as you flashed your eyes purple as a silent warning.

"Not until he's back in the cell." Rick argued.

"Good. Let's go then." Dad responded.

Rick had to do a double take, his eyes narrowing at John before realisation seemed to hit him.

"John?" Rick asked, but it was clear he already knew the answer because he was already holstering his gun.

Dad nodded, "yeah."

"Shit, sorry." He apologised, looking between you and your brothers.

"It was an easy mistake." Sam assured, not making a big deal out of it as Dean put his gun away too. "There's a lot to catch up on. Let's go back inside and-"

"No. You need to put me back in that cell." Dad instructed, cutting Sam off.

"No." You snapped, turning back to your father.

"Sweetheart, don't make this any harder. I don't wanna hurt anyone else. Just do it. Please." He begged and you felt your heart shatter at those words.

Your father never begged for anything, but now... this couldn't be happening.

"Y/N. Dean." Sam said softly and you knew what he wanted to say.

He was going to tell you that it was your only option. That you should give Dad what he wanted and you hated the fact that deep down you knew Sam was right. Sammy was always the sibling with the most brains. Some things never changed.

You spared a quick glance to Dean, his sad eyes meeting yours with a small nod and you knew he had come to the same realisation. Sam was right.

"What the hell did I miss?" Rick suddenly questioned, confusion evident in his voice as he looked around at the group of you.

"I'll fill ya in man. C'mon." Daryl responded, grabbing Rick's shoulder and leading him away before Sam started leading Dad back towards the building with the cell.

Damnit.

You trailed behind Dean and Cas, not saying anything as you followed your family into the building and down the stairs to where the cell was.
