The group drove for a few hours until you reached the beach where the spell to summon God needed to be conducted.
It would have been easier to just teleport there, but your brothers wanted to drive and you weren't going to argue. Not when you got to sit on the back of Daryl's motorcycle while he followed behind the Impala and Rick's van.
The drive was long, but nice as you rested your head against Daryl's back, letting the wind blow your hair, reminding you of the old days when you and Daryl would just hit the road on Merle's old motorcycle and just ride for hours. You missed it.
By the time Daryl slowed the bike down, you realised that the sun was starting to get lower in the sky and you knew you were running out of time. You needed to do it now before it got dark, there were still walkers out here and you didn't need any distractions while you took out God himself.
Daryl turned the engine off as he kicked the kickstand down and dismounted the bike before he held his hand out and helped you climb off.
"I still hate you being out here." You commented, squeezing Daryl's hand softly.
"Last time I wasn't with ya, ya nearly died. I ain't makin' that mistake again." Daryl responded and you opened your mouth to argue before Daryl continued talking. "Plus, I ain't even gonna be near here when ya summon God, although I should be."
"No, you shouldn't. We need you, Rick and the others out there, stopping any walkers from coming to us because whatever happens, it won't be quiet, and we can't be fighting walkers and God at the same time."
Daryl just shook his head, not happy with the plan, but he knew it was the best he was going to get. If you had it your way Daryl and the others would be back safe inside Alexandria, but they wanted to help.
"Daryl, let's go. We gotta set up a perimeter around these guys." Rick's voice shouted and you glanced over your shoulder to find Rick, Carl, Rosita, Tara, Michonne and a few other men from Alexandria all climbing out the van.
"Ya be careful, angel." Daryl said, turning his attention back to you.
"Careful's my middle name." You responded causing Daryl to scoff as he pulled you into a hug. "You be careful too, Dixon. I'll see you on the other side."
Daryl kissed the top of your head before he pulled away, staring at you for a moment before he grabbed his crossbow from the mount on his motorcycle and he walked over to the others.
You watched as the group of them disappeared into the trees to setup a perimeter surrounding you to take out any walkers that got too close.
You turned your attention back to your brothers, Cas and Jack who were adding ingredients to the three metal bowls that were on the ground in the shape of a triangle. You weren't entirely sure what the ingredients were, and you didn't bother to ask, as long as it worked, you didn't care.
"You sure it's such a good idea bringing your friends here?" Cas asked, glancing between the four of you.
"No, but Rick and Daryl were going to come with us no matter what. At least this way, they're out of harms way." Sam replied and you nodded in agreement. It wasn't ideal, but it was the best plan you could come up with.
"Sam's, right. Now, let's light it up." Dean announced as they all stood up and took a step back while Sam pulled out a packed of matches from his pocket.
You watched as Sam lit a match, sparing a quick glance at the group of you before he dropped it into the main bowl. Suddenly, blue fire ignited in all three bowls and a split second later, blue light shut up from the bowls and into the sky causing all of you to jump back in surprise.
