Chapter Text
You filled Cas in on everything that happened while Dean drove the Impala to the Sanctuary. However, when Dean pulled over on the highway, you all came to the very bad realisation that the Saviours weren't at the Sanctuary.
You could see the Sanctuary from the highway and after looking through the binoculars, it was clear that nobody was there.
"I don't understand, didn't you say that factory is where they live? So your friends have to be here to fight them, right?" Cas asked from where he was leaning against the Impala beside you.
"Yes, but they must have gone somewhere else. I don't know where, we didn't ask." Dean said, shaking his head at himself. "I should've asked them. How are we meant to find them?"
"I don't think we can... Daryl is with them and if he gets hurt or..." You trailed off shaking your head, not wanting to go down that path. Daryl would be fine. He had to be.
"I'm sorry, Y/N." Cas said softly, resting his hand on your shoulder for comfort.
What were you meant to do now? Just go back to Hilltop and wait for them to come back... well if they came back. No, stop thinking like that. They were going to come back, Negan and the Saviours might have more men and more guns, but that didn't mean anything, right?
Eventually, you all climbed back into the Impala, you and Cas in the back while your brothers sat in the front.
Dean drove down the highway, not knowing where he was going, but it was better than not doing anything.
Nobody spoke as you just stared out the window, hoping to just see them somewhere when suddenly you heard it.
'Y/N... I know ya haven't been able to hear my prayers since your powers got screwed 'n I know you're not even awake to hear it, but I don't know what else to do. The Saviours... it was a trap. They knew we were coming 'n there's fifty men with assault rifles aimed at us, right now.'
"Stop the car!" You shouted, sitting up straight as you closed your eyes and focused on what Daryl was saying.
Daryl was praying. He was praying to you. Holy shit, you could hear him praying.
'I hope ya can hear me. Y/N, please we need ya... I don't know how we're going to get out of this 'n Negan will finish his speech soon 'n then...'
"What's wrong?" Dean questioned, pulling the Impala over.
Your brothers turned around in their seats as Cas grabbed your shoulder and you opened your eyes.
"Daryl is praying to me. I can hear him... they're in trouble." You explained before Daryl's voice continued.
'Please, angel. I need ya, we're on some kind of hill, a large rise around about 20 miles south from the Sanctuary... I don't know how else to describe it. Please, just wake up 'n get here.'
"Grab my hand." You quickly said, holding your hands towards your brothers who didn't ask twice as they grabbed your hand, Cas still holding your shoulder before you closed your eyes and teleported.
You weren't entirely sure of the place Daryl was describing, so it took a few goes before you landed on the ground.
Your brothers and Cas were right beside you as you scanned your surroundings trying to find any indication that Daryl and the others were here.
"Whoa, look all those walkers." You pointed out, staring out at the view that seemed to stretch for hundreds of miles where a large herd of walkers were staggering through a field in the distance.
