Nearly a month had passed since their talk and Lydia had found it almost unbearable. They were laying low while Jackson kept his suspicions high which only meant that they had to keep up their "we hate each other" relationship going. They still tried to see each other when they could; sneaking up to Stiles's room at night just to hug and kiss him before returning back to bed. She missed him immensely, it's like it hurt just to be away from him. She knew what they was doing was wrong, having a secret relationship, but they didn't know what else to do.
Lydia felt numb. She could barely look Jackson in the face most days. At school she kept a low profile only really talking to Allison, ignoring Stiles at all costs and not speaking as much in class. She felt so tired of everything. It was lunchtime, so her and Allison headed to their lockers. Allison was worried about her, she knew she wasn't doing too good. "Lydia please, talk to me I need to know that you're doing okay? I know that everything is going to shit right now but I'm your best friend please talk to me?" She pleaded with her and placed both hands on her shoulders to get her to look at her.
"Allison I don't know what to do...honestly everything is such...just...I'm not even sure how to describe it. It just sucks. I never knew I could love someone like this...especially someone who isn't Jackson." Lydia spoke quietly as she looked to the floor.
Malia who was quickly taking some books out of her locker opposite perked her ears up at what Lydia said. What was this? Was Lydia cheating on Jackson? No way. They were the top couple, nothing ever went wrong in their relationship. She smiled devilishly as she continued to listen.
"But Lydia its not all bad you just need to tell him and then you and Stiles can be together, cause let's admit we both know that's who you'd chose. You're perfect for each other and I know that even though you pretend to ignore each other in school I still see the way that you two look at each other. It's so sad, he looks at you like you're the only one he needs. You need to sort this out ASAP." Allison finished with a sigh. "But I-we can't you know Jackson would hurt him and all this sneaking around it's so wrong I feel dreadful honestly and I know he does too. No matter what Jackson has done to me, he's still his brother and while we're still together it looks like I'm just using him when I'm not." Lydia replied sadly, her voice cracking slightly.
HOLY SHIT. No way, the person she's cheating on Jackson with his Stiles??! Malia thought back to the party and her time with Stiles. Man he was cute and hot. She really has two gorgeous brothers wrapped around her fingers like that? Malia thought furiously. She'd kill to be in Lydia's position right now. She'd always had the biggest crush on Jackson ever since freshmen year, but he never paid her no mind he thought that she was just some dumb whore not worth his time. But maybe now if he knew what a hoebag and slut Lydia was being he would drop her and get with her instead? I mean I'm sure he'd be grateful to the one who told him the truth about what was really going on. And for Stiles? Well I'm sure that he wouldn't like to hear how Lydia has been using him just for a good time? She laughed slightly and while Stiles is busy mourning Lydia she could swoop in and show him what it's like to be with a real woman. She'd had the best of both worlds and Lydia? Well she'd be out of the picture that was for sure.
Lydia and Allison walked off to the cafeteria and Malia whipped out her phone with a callous laugh. This was going to be fun.
