Things seemed to have changed since she went to go see Stiles a few days ago. The pair were acting off with each other and more than usual, since they were both pretending that they still hated one another, for whatever reason it was they decided to do so. They would purposely ignore each other or give each other dirty looks or Stiles would give the occasional sigh when his family mentioned her name yet, there was still something off.

Lydia was almost glad they had gone back to ignoring each other, it forced whatever she felt and whatever happened between them, to go away and she could pretend it didn't happen for awhile. She kept telling herself: what was going on with her? She loved Jackson right? and he was just Jackson's anti social half brother who didn't like her. She kept going over and over in her head but nothing seemed to distract her from him.

She hated when he looked at her, well she lied she didn't hate it, in fact she loved it but she hated that she loved it. That she could see his eyes and for a second it seems like he feels the same. But none of that matters, she doesn't love him or fancy him, she is dating his brother and that was that. Of course Jackson hadn't noticed the pair, but yet again he barely noticed that Lydia was even there most of the time, let alone notice other people's reactions to her.

She hated that she had got herself into such a mess, this was so unlike her. She was Lydia Martin, she was perfect and organised, never messy. That was it she thought, she didn't fancy him, he was just a made up distraction for her because of what had happened with Jackson. Similar to what can happen to people who get their lives saved and 'fall in love with their rescuers'.

Now, Lydia was no damsel in distress, but it was just that Stiles had kept catching her at her most vulnerable states whether that be; when she was angry, upset or just frustrated. Either way, she knew these feelings towards him were false and she wasn't going to let them get her down. She needed a distraction.

A day later, Lydia was returning back to Jackson's after going shopping with Allison. She basically lived at Jackson's now it was nearly the summer holidays and she had more time off from school. She felt bad that she was barely seeing her bestie as much and always adored the girly days she got to spent with her. It was around 1pm and she knew no one would be home at this time but it didn't matter much since Mrs Whittmore had given her the spare key.

She knew that Jackson's parents would be at work on a Thursday and Jackson was at a lacrosse game and Stiles was at school and Bella was staying at her grandparents for a few weeks. She slowly made her way out her car and to the front door, tons of shopping bags weighing her down but she was used to it by now. She placed her key in the front door, quickly opening it before her arms did eventually drop off but she was also so excited to try her new outfits on.

However, the sight that fell upon her was far from expected as she stood frozen in the door way, heavy music blaring from the TV. Her eyes were wide with shock as she saw Stiles, alone, in just his black boxers, dancing and singing along to the song. Lydia dropped the key on the floor out of reaction, which quickly alerted Stiles to her presence.

He yelped, almost like a puppy, and quickly grabbed a pillow from the sofa covering his boxers and grabbing the remote to the tv to turn the music off. He looked a mess, his chestnut hair lay in a scruffy pile on his head, his body was tan and toned with his abs showing just enough towards the lower half of his stomach, although Lydia had to admit that to her he just looked delicious, as she stared down his body...further... further...Yikes! She had to calm down before she got herself all flustered. What's wrong with her? She needed to snap out of it.

Stiles hastily threw her out of her thoughts as he shyly spoke in surprise. "L-Lydia!? Whatt a-are you doing h-here?" He stuttered nervously as he avoided all eye contact with her and kept the cushion firmly pressed against his body like it was going to change what she had saw. Lydia stared at him blankly for a moment before responding. "Um...erm well i've come home early...cause i didn't have school today...i've been shopping with Ali" She lifted her heavy bags as if in proof of what she was saying.
