Stiles POV:
Once Stiles had lifted the heavy bag for his mother on to the table he noticed that Lydia was no where in site. "Mom really? you know Jackson is stronger, why didn't you ask him to do it?" he questioned her slightly annoyed. She gave him a obvious look. "Sweetie don't be daft. You know that no matter how many times you ask him, there is just certain things that Jackson won't do." She stated matter of factly before unloading the bag. Stiles scoffed. "Well you've got that right, there is definitely some things he will not do." He said speaking of different matter completely.
"Sorry what Stiles? What do you mean?" She asked him without looking up. "Oh erm nothing Mom its nothing." he replied while leaning against the counter. "Oh well see i also know that unlike Jackson you are much kinder and willing to help others it's so sweet" She smiled back at him. "Wow thanks Mom you make me sound so wet and pathetic. He joked slightly while rolling his eyes "Girls definitely don't like 'sweet' they like more rough, tough mean kinda guys." He said in frustration. "No no don't be daft Stiles, you have great qualities and any girl would be lucky to have you!" she beamed at him.
Stiles sighed softly in response before speaking. "That's the thing Mom i really wish they did but they don't..." he said sadly, looking to the floor before standing up straight once more. His mother stopped what she was doing and walked over to him, she was much smaller than him. She gave him a small hug before looking at him and resting her hands on his cheeks. "Awww honey trust me if a girl doesn't recognise your worth and see what a prize you are, she isn't worth it, because there will definitely be girls out there who do." She replied sweetly before giving him a kiss on the cheek and returning to her task.
Stiles returned the smile before walking out the kitchen. He knew Lydia was upstairs and he needed to talk to her. He headed up the first flight of stairs quickly and agilely as he reached the top and walked around the corner he saw her sat at the bottom of the the next flight of stairs with her head in her hands. He walked up to her cautiously. "Lydia?" He whispered to her and her head shot up speedily as if he'd frightened her.
"Stiles? What the fuck are you doing? Are you following me?" She questioned him harshly while he avoided all eye contact. "...No...Okay maybe a little i just wanted to speak to you." He told her honestly. She sighed deeply. "Well go on then? what is it? we don't have much time before Jackson comes upstairs." She told him impatiently. She seemed so angry at him and he hated it, she couldn't just blame him for what had happened between them. It was the both of them.
"Lydia...i can't get you off my mind okay, i can't get last night off of my mind i just want you still and just Jackson he's making me annoyed i know he's suspicious but i don't really know why but i would say it's because he's guilty." Stiles stated looking down at the floor as he went to go sit next to her on the step. She closed her eyes for a split second at what he said. "Stiles i know i erm think about you too and especially about last night but we just can't okay? you know that. Especially since he is already watching us more closely now, you can't be seen talking to me like this." She told him truthfully as she caught his eyes.
"Okay i know that i just please please tell me what to do because i care so much about you i just want you... i can't stop thinking about you and right now i'm so confused and i know you probably don't even think of me that way anyway and you probably saw it as some accidental one night stand and you actually despise me and that-" Lydia quickly but quietly cut off his rambling by gently pulling him down to her and kissing him.
They both quickly melted into the kiss as he brought his hands up to cup her cheeks, making sure to give it all he had as he didn't know when this would happen again, but god did he miss it. She reached around the back of him and grabbed his hair, messing it up as the kiss became more passionate. Stiles, lost in the moment, swiftly held her hips to bring her onto his lap but she hastily put her hands over his and stopped him, breaking the kiss in the process. She rested her forehead against him so their noses were touching. Both of them now heavily out of breath.
