Stiles's POV:
Stiles quickly made his way back into school after watching Lydia's car race off out of the car park. He was such a screw up. He sighed heavily before finding Scott still sat in the cafeteria, and he motioned for him to follow him. Once he'd joined him, Scott could instantly tell something was up.
"Yeah? Buddy? what's up man?" Scott questioned calmly, but inquisitively, while they walked slowly through the halls.

Stiles' eyes remained on the ground, he felt so conflicted with things and he didn't really know why. "I'm not even sure man honestly just things seem to be a bit scattered lately..." Scott quickly cut him off with a devilish smirk on his face. "Wait wait is this about that girl that you..." Stiles eyes went wide for a second and he hastily told him to shut up while looking around to see if anyone was listening. "No no no i erm i mean not at all okay? Just forget it it doesn't matter...Woah guess what though?" Stiles quickly picked up the tone in his voice, changing the subject fast, as he actually sounded excited about something for once.

Scott seemed to question his change in mood as he raised one eyebrow at him but decided it better to ignore it for now. "What?" Scott questioned as he poked his thumbs around the straps on his backpack. Stiles rummaged through his bag and pulled out a small piece of paper. "I actually managed to pull a girl and i actually got her number! Ain't you proud?!" Stiles yelled excitedly almost jumping on the spot.

Scott smiled at him and patted him on the back. "Woah there casanova that's fantastic! Where did you meet her then?" Scott asked with a big grin on his face as he examined the girls phone number like it was a fake. "Funnily enough it was at the zoo and she came to speak to me first and honestly she was so pretty and sweet and i'm half sure she believes she was getting Jackson's number in exchange or something cause she surely can't have meant me and honestly i'm conflicted whether i should message her or just leave it or..." Scott started to laugh as he raised his large hands up in front of Stiles' face.

"Dude dude dudeee! Chill the fuck out please, you're actually causing me stress from just listening to you. And stop being daft she definitely wanted you not your brother otherwise she would have given her number to him wouldn't she? and you should definitely call her you barely get any girls attention like i'm actually starting to worry about you and your obsession over Jackson's girlfriend." Scott chuckled further as they stopped outside and sat down at some benches that had a table between, sitting opposite each other.

Stiles went slightly red at what he said, Shushing Scott loudly and looked back to the ground before responding. "First of all i only ramble because i was excited and nervous and it's not a good combination alright you know that, and secondly i am not obsessed with Lydia Martin!" He instinctively looked around to see if anyone heard them again before carrying on. "It was just a stupid crush i had when i was a freshman nothing special and i do too get tons of girls..." Stiles dwindled off his sentence as if he was barely believing himself.

Scott reached over the table and placed a sympathetic hand on his shoulder. "Oh god bro what is actually wrong with me?" Stiles pleaded him. "I'm actually the biggest loser for fuck sake i'm 18, still a virgin, barely kissed a girl and still obsessing over one that is in a toxic relationship with my brother." Stiles laid down on the bench opposite Scott's and placed his hands over his face in shame.

"Noo shut up! Stiles Stilinski is not a loser! You hear me? Not everyone has to lose their virginity by 18 anyway like who cares. No Stiles Stilinski is a god made genius who, since freshman year has become a beast in lacrosse and has filled out nicely, honestly man you're a right catch just look at those abs heyyyy" Scott reached over and attempted to lift up Stiles's t-shirt to show his, now more toned stomach and chest but Stiles bat his hand away. "Any girl would be lucky to have you, if i do say so myself." Scott replied almost proudly as he smiled fondly at him, his big, light brown eyes glistening in the afternoon sun.

Stiles removed his hands slowly to flash Scott a weak smile. "Thanks Bro! but i am so a loser. I literally have been 'hating' a girl for years just because i fancied the hell out of her and i was mad that she didn't love me and instead pondered after my dickhead of a brother, who will barely give her the time of day, and instead i'm being mocked by my whole family for not having a girlfriend and hated by the one girl that i just want to love. And what do i do the first chance any girl shows me the slightest bit of attention? I freak out with my anxiety and never call them back. And i barely have any abs anyway, i worked to get my body to change like this since freshman year and still no girl gives a flying shit. That, my friend, is what i would call a loser." Stiles replied sarcastically and sighed heavily again, placing his hand back over his face in disgust.

"No don't say that man you're awesome!" Scott tried to defend him, but was failing miserably to cheer his best mate up. Stiles sat up briefly, his hands fiddling with the splinters in the wood of the table. "Dude not to be harsh or anything but you would say that, you're Mr Perfect you literally have such a good life. You're handsome as frick, awesome at lacrosse, team captain, has a good job with a boss who loves you, has a kickass gorgeous girlfriend and is adored by all honestly, please just let me know how i can be you?" Stiles collapsed his head on the table looking at Scott as he sat there slightly bewildered.

"Erm well thanks man but i'm not perfect, i mean i'm literally failing most, if not all, my classes, i have to work overtime to support my mum and i and i don't even have a clue how i pulled Allison but you was right on one thing she is gorgeous." Scott spoke quickly before smiling uncontrollably at the mentioning Allison. Stiles was so happy for him, that his best friend had found the perfect girl, yet deep down he was so envious.

Scott's voice brought him back from his thoughts as he carried on speaking. "And as for Lydia man that is, i'll agree, it was your call, you decided years ago to play this stupid game of hating her instead of just being her friend and at least having somewhere to start, but even so man...maybe it just isn't meant to be, she is with your brother, Jackson Whittemore who is literally the most popular and most good looking guy at our school there is no way you stand a chance against him, Sorry. It's only a blessing that you're related the jackass so he doesn't beat our asses everyday you know that!" Scott concluded before the bell rang obnoxiously above their heads.

Stiles groaned even louder into his hands and rolled his eyes in exaggeration. Scott stood up as the school soon became busy with everyone going to class. "Bro are you coming to calculus or not?" Scott gestured for him but Stiles just responded with another large groan. "No sorry man i can't right now i'm going to head home." Stiles said with a heavy heart as he stood up, eyelid heavy and his hands playing with the zip on his joggers.

Scott looked at him sympathetically. "Okay man if you think that's what's best, i'll see you tomorrow yeh?" Scott shouted over his shoulder as he speedily walked to his next class. Stiles nodded in response and watched him go for a bit before deciding to move to his jeep and head home. Today was just one of those days.
