Both of us proceeded to talk about random stuff. Karl distracting me from thinking about it too much and making sure to keep his distance.

Just for that entire day, we both ignored texts and calls, only checking to see if it was Alex, and talked continuously throughout the day.

I realised a lot of things that day, and my feelings were yet another thing I had to sort out.

------------------------------------

The next day, me and Karl had been invited once again to stream Among Us with another group of people. I've decided to politely decline the invitation and reassured Karl that I was fine.

We both decided that Karl would still stream and play Among Us while also letting the viewers know that Alex had left while I would talk to Clay about everything that had happened.

Everything went smoothly, I ended up talking with Clay for more than two hours.

"Hey, is everything alright? Do I need to fly out there? Have you talked to Ray?" Clay asked immediately as he picked up. I let out a slight chuckle before replying, "Everything's fine. I'll tell Ray later, or you can too.. I just.. messed up?" I let out a shaky sigh, feeling another wave of tears coming.

Clay, noticing my distress lets out a small chuckle, "What's life without a few ups and downs? It's gonna be fine. You can get through this, just let it all out," he said as I began crying and explaining to him everything that happened.

Clay just sat there silently, giving some opinions here and there. Reassuring me that I shouldn't blame myself too much. He also joked around saying he would fly here when Karl left, at least I thought so.

A few hours later, me and Karl were now sitting on the couch, both on social media, waiting anxiously for Alex to text or call us- well me mostly since Alex just texted Karl to let him know that he landed a few hours ago.

Karl finally lets out a huff in frustration, "You know what? I'm tired of us just waiting for Alex to text you. Like I get how we're supposed to give him time and stuff to come around but we are NOT gonna spend the next few days together just- lounging around!"

He stood up quickly making me flinch slightly, "Well, what do you suggest we do big man?" I asked, Schlatt obviously rubbing off me. Speaking of which, I should get in touch with Schlatt soon.

I was broken out of my train of thoughts as Karl stomped over to his room and came back with a hoodie in hand.

"Here, wear this. We're going out," he said as he tossed me the hoodie since he was already wearing one.

I hesitated before putting it on. Karl noticed and he shook his head slightly, "Friendship hoodie!" he grinned as I chuckled at his childishness.

I stood up to grab the keys and we both started walking out of the apartment towards my car, talking about places we should go.

We settled on going to an arcade first then a pizza place afterwards and call it a night, seeing as I had a recording to do with Dream tomorrow and Karl had admitted that he had been invited to join Alex's stream- which I will admit, hurt me a bit, but Karl had reassured me that Alex still needed some time to come around.

"Hey! Stop cheating!" whined Karl. We were currently playing a fighting game, me versus Karl, and I was currently winning.

"Not my fault your bad at this. Like damn! I thought you've been playing games since you were little," I smirked causing him to scoff.

"That doesn't matter if your going against a natural born gamer! I bet your one of those sweaty try hard nerds when no one's watching," he tried distracting me, which slightly worked as I let out a laugh.

"Honey, never compare me to Carson," I said smirking as I knew that would distract him.

I was right, I felt him freeze for a minute, and just as he was caught off guard, I finished his character, earning a big "VICTORY!" on my screen.

I turned to look at him as he gasped, "You- You cheated! That's not fair! You distracted me," I let out a laugh,

"That's called, strategic planning. Plus, you started it," I said as he pouts, mumbling to himself.

I simply laughed it off and went over to ruffle up his hair, "Come on sore loser, let's do some Dance Dance Revolution next,"

He fixes his hair and immediately shot up, grinning, "Now this is gonna be fun," he said as I rolled my eyes.

During a call with the Dream Team, Karl and Alex a few weeks ago, Clay had revealed that I was indeed a horrible dancer. Nick didn't help either by confirming it. I mean we all can't be good at everything.

DDR was a nightmare, Karl kept laughing as I struggled to do the right moves, mumbling incoherent words as I did so. Or maybe I said them out loud- I couldn't really tell over Karl's laughs and me focusing. Some role model I'm supposed to be.

Me and Karl both had a few tickets since we decided that we were both hungry and gave the tickets to a kid that came up to us asking for a picture. Another wholesome moment that happened.

After ordering some pizza, we were both joking around, guessing about what Clay's idea for "Minecraft But" recording was for tomorrow,

"Bet ya it's gonna be something like- Minecraft But Whenever I move a thousand mobs show up," he said grinning.

I chuckled at the thought, "Wouldn't that just crash the server then?" he frowned upon realising then thought for a moment before saying,

"Well what about, Minecraft but I'm in love with Georgenotfound?" I scoffed as he giggled.

"Wouldn't I just be third wheeling? And yes before you ask, Nic- Sapnap won't be recording with us tomorrow," he raised an eyebrow.

"Maybe I could get him to join me and Alex," he mumbled as I punched his arm playfully.

I sighed, "Still sucks that Alex won't call me or even text me. Actually let alone be in the same discord VC even though it's for the roleplay,"

He looks at me with a soft smile, "He'll come around. I still don't get why you won't contact him first though?"

I groaned in frustration, Clay had asked me the same question too, "It's cause he said he wants more time! And- and- I don't know if I should contact him or not- or should I wait until he wants to talk? What if he doesn't want to talk-"

I was cut off as Karl placed his hand on mine, "Okay, okay. Calm down drama queen. You're right, just let him have some time to come around, you guys go well together, he'll give in eventually," he said with a almost unnoticeable sad smile playing on his face.

I let out a breath I've been holding and sent him a smile, "Thank you, Karl," he nods before we continued on, talking about other random things.

The rest of the night we just spent as friends, enjoying each other's company, not giving a single damn about anything else.

And just for a moment, everything seemed perfect.
