"Oh, we'll be doing a bunch of dumb shit after you see your surprise tomorrow," I said smiling at him, not caring if I reveal it now since he basically got it.
"So I was right! Karl is flying over!" he said excitedly I couldn't help but let out a chuckle once again at this sight.
"We're just gonna have the same conversation all over again, so don't jump onto conclusions just yet, wait till tomorrow," I said pointing a plastic fork at him before continuing to eat.
He lets out a groan as he said, "But that's gonna take forever!" then proceeds to eat.
I laugh at his childish behavior, "You'll get through it just fine," he rolled his eyes at that jokingly.
And just like that, we spent the rest of the night talking about random stuff, awaiting the surprise tomorrow.

I was awaken by my alarm the next day. After checking the comments on the recent tweet I had made a few hours ago, I got up and did my morning routine.
It didn't take me long to get ready this time. I walked out of my room to see Alex at the table eating breakfast,
"Morning sunshine. I got us some pancakes from uber eats," he said as I walked over to the coffee machine to make some coffee.
"Good morning to you too, Alexis! Do you want any coffee?" I asked him as he shook his head nodding at his orange juice on the table.
"Nah, I got this from your fridge. I don't understand why you like that bitter thing," he said pulling a disgusted face causing me to chuckle,
"Coffee is life, Alexis," I said trying to put on a serious expression but ended up laughing along with Alex.
After getting my coffee, I sat down at the table to eat breakfast with Alex,
"So.. Any reason why you told me to wake up this early?" he asked with raised eyebrows,
"Oh, we're going to the train station to mee- get that surprise I told you about," I said not making eye contact.
He lets out a laugh before saying, "Shut the fuck up! No way! Who even goes to the train station to just- pick stuff up nowadays?" causing me to roll my eyes.
"Don't- question me.." I mumbled as he lets out chuckle before we transitioned into talking about other stuff, until I remembered,
"Shit! I forgot to call Cla- er Dream!" I said as I finished my cup of coffee, before I could even get up and leave Alex held my hand,
"You can do that later, for now, just- can you spend the last few moments of us being alone together?" asked Alex, blushing and looking away, embarrassed by his own actions.
This warmed my heart, I guess Clay could wait. I sat up properly and held his hand, "Fine, and this better not be because of the whole 'you replacing Dream as my best friend' bit," I huffed causing him to laugh.
"I mean.." he said before I smack his arm playfully, he chuckled and said, "I'm kidding! Your adorable.."
I blushed a bit before rolling my eyes, "Whatever.. Wanna drive around? Or do you wanna just, stay here for a bit?" I asked him, checking the time.
He thought for a moment before getting up still holding my hand, "How about.. We stay here for a bit, watch some Spongebob-" I let out a laugh as he does, "and cuddle.."
I smile at him, "Sounds ideal, let me go grab some blankets," I got up and we both let go of our hand, then I ran to my room to get a spare blanket.
I got back to Alex sitting on the couch on his phone and decided to plop down next to him,
He smiled at me before saying, "I set the alarm, now all we need is Spongebob," he said as I let out a laugh before grabbing the remote.
"Alexis, you are definitely an interesting person," I said as he sat closer to me and pulled the blanket over the both of us.
"Hey man, look, Spongebob is a good show!" he defended causing me to laugh once again,
I rested my head on his chest as the intro of Spongebob started playing.
And just like that, we spent the rest of the moments we had together just cuddling and watching Spongebob. Not sure where we were going with this friendship.
