C H A P T E R 1 9

After that we just talked about random stuff while Karl asked around on who would be available to play some jackbox with us.

We involved Alex in the end, which Karl was weirdly against for a few seconds before changing up and agreeing to let him join.

But throughout our call, only one question was running through my mind, since I've never experienced this even with Clay, or the Lunch Club guys,

But, why would I blush over Alex and Karl?

The stream was pretty normal. Me and Karl got on the SMP as I helped him build party island, apparently he had this whole bit where he was a simp for Pokimane. I found it quite hilarious, not gonna lie.

Me and Karl took turns streaming, I would stream the SMP while he streamed jackbox.

Jackbox was pretty hectic. We were playing with Quackity, Schlatt, Wilbur, Eret and someone I just met recently, BadBoyHalo.

Honestly, it was quite entertaining to watch Schlatt hold back from the cussing and stuff just for Bad. Plus, BadBoyHalo is a really nice person so I wouldn't see why he wouldn't do that.

Me and Alex also did this bit where we didn't meet up, and he was still in Mexico. Causing our friends to join in. Well, all except Karl. He was pretty quiet during that bit.

Thus, the night ended. Just like that, me and Alex were off to day 2.

I drove Alex to the Lunch Club house or air bnb,

turns out he did actually have plans with Carson,

most of it involved still making fun of me for being the "detour" while Alex was here.

They also did this whole stream where they were scrolling through twitter, then proceeded to play some WII Sports. I decided not to join in, as we both still decided to continue the bit where me and Alex pretended to have met up.

I sat in the living room alone since the other boys were either streaming, or editing.

Man, this is wayyy more boring than I hoped it would be. I thought, then immediately later I got a facetime call incoming from 'Karl Wheezer'.

I answered, "Good day, my good sir. And to what may you need for on this fine day?" cringing a bit, but glad that earned me a laugh from Karl.

"Well, m'lady. I'm gonna be blunt here. Kinda thought you'd be bored since I didn't see you on Carson's stream," he said as I gasped.

"Rude! What makes you think I have such a boring life?" I said causing him to chuckle,

"Oh, please! If you were actually doing something else, you wouldn't be talking to me right now, and plus I checked the others' stream since I figured you'd be somewhere in their house, and surprise surprise, you aren't in any of them!" he said confidently as I was in shock.

"DAMN Karl! Didn't know you kept tabs on me now," I said smirking as he turned red,

"W-what- NO! I-I just wanted to make sure I wasn't interrupting anything before I called!" he stuttered causing me to laugh at his nervousness,

"I'm messing with you. You're such a simp," I said as he rolled his eyes at me, still red.

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever floats your boat. Anyways, how's your day been going?" he asked and realizes the question he asked a few seconds too late as I replied with,

"I mean, Karl. I thought you kept tabs on me? I've literally done nothing except drove here with Alex, that is if you exclude the lunch we had," causing Karl to smile goofishly.

"Yeahhh, way to go Karl," he mumbled causing me to laugh at him.

"Y/N 1, Karl 0," I winked at him as he pouted.

"Anyways, the surprise! It's tomorrow! We're still on that right?" I asked, causing his face to lighten up,

"YUP! I'm not gonna bail on you now, after all this hard work, well, my hard work that's per say," I rolled my eyes as I smiled at his cockiness,

"Shut up, Mr Worker of the month. But, for real though, that's awesome. It's gonna be unbelievable. Alex would freak!" I exaggerated, causing him to laugh,

"Alright, Mrs Being Sarcastic Is My Thing. Speaking of, are you gonna vlog?" he said causing my eyes to widen in realisation.

"Fuck!" I said out loud causing him to wince a bit at the sudden tone, I quickly added, "Sorry! Crap, I forgot to vlog me and Alex meeting up- No wait, actually, I'm glad I left that out. The amount of stupid shi- stuff I'd do in that very long time of waiting for him is just- no." I said causing Karl to laugh.

We talked about this yesterday, about the time where I was just scrolling through social media whilst waiting for Alex to arrive at the airport. But imagining what I'd have to do for content if I had to vlog, would be absolutely mortifying. ESPECIALLY, when I was super tired.

"I'm just saying.. If it was me, I wouldn't have kept you waiting," he said showing me a innocent grin, and to which I scoffed to, but still felt my cheeks redden up a bit.

"Alex, wouldn't have either. His flight was delayed, Speedy Boy," causing him to chuckle.

"Well, we'll just have to wait and see huh?" he grinned again causing me to smile at him,

"Yeah, we'll just have to wait and see," and it just went on like that. Me and Karl just smiling at each other. It might've looked weird for anyone else, but it was just different for me and Karl. I don't know why but, it just felt.. different.

I jumped in my seat, broken from the trance we were in as the door to Carson's room opened, I quickly said my goodbyes to Karl as Alex and Carson came out of the room.

I wasn't sure why I was eager on hiding my call with Karl, maybe it was to avoid being questioned, or maybe it was something else?

Either way, the rest of the day I was just thinking of our little conversation, with a smile every now and then appearing on my face. Which I brushed it off to everyone else, telling them I was just in a great mood.
