*PAIGES POV*

I lie wide awake with Nialls arm slung protectively over my body. Becky lost the baby. I can't believe it. I don't want to see her because I won't know what to say to her. I can't even imagine what her and Zayn are going through right now. I mean, her being pregnant was as big a shock as it was to us but they were both so excited. Niall begins to stir but keeps his eyes closed. I close my eyes hoping he'd think I'm asleep and fall back into his own dreams. "I know you're awake babe. Can't fool me that easily!" he whispers, bringing out his Irish accent. I smile "Sorry..." I reply, my eyes staring towards the ceiling. I see his blue orbs fly open in the corner of my eye "Sorry? For what babe?" He asks curiously. "Sorry for everything Nialler! I'm putting everything on hold for you and the lads! Your tour, your life, your career." I mumble painfully. I look down at my leg which is surrounded in a white cast, covered with people names and signatures written with a sharpie. "And then there's this fucking thing! A pregnant woman with a broken leg! That can't be good!" I almost scream but Niall places his index finger over my mouth before I can say anything else. "Paige, none of those things were your fault. They were all mistakes." he replies. This makes me feel even worse "The baby was a mistake?" I ask, already knowing his answer. "The baby was a good mistake! You know I can't wait to be a dad!" He says aggravatingly. I smile and kiss his cheek "I know. But Niall, you know that once I have this baby, I won't be able to come with you on tour. I'll be keeping everyone awake and the baby needs full attention at all times!" I say quickly but he interrupts me. "Baby Lux is doing perfectly fine Paige. The lads wont mind and I can't deal with being away from you after the kidnapping, the car accident. And you know it!" he begs, terror beginning to spread across his face. "I know babe, I can't stay away from you either."
"Then why say that in the first place?" He begs for answer. "Because I was thinking of your welfare!" I reply strongly, he just kisses me. 

"Paige! Paige! Paige! Wake up!" Shelby screams whilst jumping on my bed. I stir and hit something hard "Ouch!" She says loudly. My eyes fly open and find her flat on the marble floor. "Wh-what are you doing down there Shelby? Wheres Niall?" I ask, still trying to wake up. "You! Pushed me off the bed the plonker and he's gone to perform with the lads. It's just us girls here now!" She sings happily, winking her eye. I smile helplessly "Why didn't he wake me?" I ask confusingly.
"He didn't want to disturb you, he said its the first decent sleep you've had since the accident. Is that true Paige?" She says seriously. I'm about to reply when I'm saved by Chloe's presence appearing in the now crowded room. "Hello sleepy head! Awake finally!" She shouts before sticking her tongue out and poking me in the shoulder. Her usual greeting sign. "Hey Clo, where's Becky? How is she?" I ask worriedly. Chloe looks down to her feet. "She's doing as can be expected. Terrible. She's sitting in the lounge watching some random tv show, Hollyoaks I think." She replies slowly. I didn't even know Hollyoaks was available in the US. 

I make myself decent, tie my hair up In a high pony tail. Pulling my fringe away from my face and following my friends to the private lounge or 'lobby'. There she is. Sitting motionless on the sofa, wrapped up so her knees are tucked into her chest. "Hey Becc. How are you today?" I ask her stupidly, like she is some sort of mental patient. Sadly, she notices. "Shit Paige! My baby's dead! Why mine? Why is it never you who gets hurt eh?" She screams before she charges out of the room and slamming the door behind her. I stand in the same position. Shocked.
