*Chloe's POV*
The dreary noise of the plane's engine, with Harry humming the tune of Little Things to me, soon sent me off into a dreamless sleep. I couldn't face nine hours plus back to the UK. Worrying and over thinking this situation and every other bad situation that has happened would not help at all. And the best way to kill off nine hours was to either watch a film, or fall asleep. All I remember of that nine hour journey, was waking up, with my head rested on Harry's lap, with his head resting on my side, with Niall and Paige waking us up. I was thankful that this time, it wasn't Louis. Usually he'd jump on the both of us.. And since he's been working out, he wasn't getting any lighter. The plane door swung open, revealing the rather bright, cloudless sky of the UK. Though a bitter wind still greeted me as I walked down the steps. "HOME, GLORIOUS HOME!" Zayn piped up, in a slightly altered Bradfordian accent which was followed by a chorus of laughs from the rest of us. "Gemma is in the local infirmary, just down the road from here if we get there quick we ca-" Harry began to talk quickly, his eyes seemed a blaze with worry now, though I quickly stopped him. "Harry! Calm down, everything will be fine." I added quickly, grabbing his large, firm hands. His response was a simple nod. Yet constantly, this look of worry was displayed upon his pale facial features. The large SUV, different to the ones they had in America, came and we all piled in. Paige sitting next to Niall, across from them, me and Harry. Louis sat with Ellie, next to them, Josh and Beth. Finally, Zayn, Laim and Shelby, holding her stomach sat at the back. Shit, Shelby was pregnant. With the recent goings on, I completely forgot about it. As the door slammed shut, I piped up against the mumbles. "Hey, Shelby, how long is it untill the baby's due?" Shelby smiled, looking at Liam who wore a proud smile. "Anytime soon, Clo! The nurse said anything from two weeks to a month at the most." It was wierd, the fact that Shelby got pegnant so fast.. And with Laim. After only a few months of being with him was quite mental. As she spoke, even though Louis was wearing a smile: his eyes told a different story. I could see sadness within his eyes. And I couldn't help but feel for him. That's another thing I forgot to think about. Though who am I to judge? Harry-freaking-Styles was my boyfriend, the "naughty, flirty" one of the group as tagged by the media.
After a ten minute drive, we arrived at the private surgery where Gemma was situated. Me and Harry left first, as soon as his feet found the solid ground, he quickly strode off. His gate was faster than his usual-plodding-like one. It had a sense of urgancy about it. Quickly, I looked back to see if the others were close behind. Luckily enough, they were able to keep a reasonable distance behind. "CAN WE PLEASE SLOW DOWN, PREGNANT GIRL OVER HERE!?" Shelby's voice called after a few moments. Harry looked at me, then to Shelby. Sighing, I butted in before he could reply. "Go, we will catch you up." He nodded, giving me a light peck on the lips before quickly jogging off to the allocated room where Gemma lay. "I'm going to get Gemma some chocolates or something.. Every girl needs chocolate, right?" Slightly smiling, I looked to the others, who smiled and chuckled in unison. Luckily, the small shop that was by the canteen was pretty pricey-it would be for a private surgery. On the way there, a familiar nudge on my shoulder brought me out of my worried transe- Louis. Ellie was behind, talking and joking with Shelby and Beth, Paige and Niall cooing at Demi behind us. "Hey, Lou." I smiled weakly at him, turning the corner down to the main corridor. "Hey, it's gonna be alright, Yanno? Were all here for ya." His tone was slightly lower, softer than his usual perky Yorkshire accent. "I hope so. It's more Harry I'm worried about." I replied. Louis nodded, before we could say anything else, we arrived at the small shop. In there, was an assortment of chocolates, cakes, sandwiches and drinks. Spotting an assortment of Thorntons chocolate straight away, I grabbed by small puse, which was in my pocket that I always carried around on me, just incase. Paying for the chocolates, I quickly turned. Headding back to Gemma's room. With the rest following behind me.
*Harry's POV*
I felt bad, for leaving Chloe. But I had to see Gemma. For the whole of the nine hour flight, and before, it had been nagging at me. What if her condition had worsened since I found out? All I could imagine, was my strong sister, older sister, hooked up onto a life machine with an assortment of liquids pumping into her, with a heart monitor beside her. I quickly raced down the corridor, swinging open the right door to room 123. There, my vision came true. Gemma lay there, hocked up to a heart monitor and bearly breathing. Stitched cuts lining her forehead, one eye black and bruises down her arms. My mother sat beside her, grasping her hands. Licking my lips, softly I stepped closer. "How is she?" I asked, in a bearly audible whisper. "Not as well as I hoped.." Mum replied, looking up at me with tear-stained eyes. Quickly, I hugged her. Sitting beside her and staring at Gemma's seemingly lifeless form.
