*Chloe's POV*
As we entered the corridor where Gemma was apparently located, the others decided to wait in the Main area. Though Louis, slightly worried, grabbed my hand; stopping me before I could enter Gemma's room. "Clo?" Louis stared at me, keeping my hand in his own, he seemed flustered in some sort of way. Confused. It was wierd, a year ago. I would have thought that holding Louis Tomlinsons hand would be the death of me, but now I saw him as a friend, a brother more than anything. "I know this isn't the best time, not at all.. But there's something I need to tell you. I-I need to get it off my chest." He paused, inhaling a deep breath before continuing. "Recent evens have lead me to start liking you.. Really liking you." I blinked, my eyes widened. Wait, what? I paused, searching for something to say. Anything. By the look on his face. This was pretty awkward. I had been there for him since Shelby left, we all have. But this was different. "Oh Lou.. What about Ellie, what about Harry? I can't.. I can't leave him." I responded. No, I can't leave Harry.. For his best friend? No, I won't. But.. It's Louis Tomlinson for Christ sake! I snapped the thought out of my head; looking at his disheartened look on his face. "I-I am sorry, I don't know what came over m-" Before he continued, I pulled him into a hug, mumbling. "Lou, I like every single one of you. I mean JESUS you're all good looking. But Harry.. Harry is Harry and I love him more than anything." I replied, looking into those deep blue orbs of his. "Anyway, Ellie is much better suited to you! I just moan all the time, about everything!" I tried to lighten up the convorsation. "We better go and see how Gemma is." Louis nodded, letting go of my hand and together we walked through the doors. There, Gemma lay in a condition way too frightening to contemplate. It seemed all too much at this moment, what with what Louis had just confessed, Harry's depressed state and Gemma. Anne saw me, offering a tiny smile, Harry stood up and I quickly walked over to him, wrapping my arms around him. I could hear his deep breaths and the rumble of his voice. "What took you so long? I thought you wernt gonna turn up at one point." Louis cleared his throat, sitting down at the opposite side to us on one of the chairs. Harry greeted him with a small smile. "Sorry, I shouldn't really be in here.. Just thought I'd accompany Chloe, she seemed like she needed someone with her." Harry's grip suddenly tightened around me, pushing his finger up from my chin so my head was tilted towards him. "Is that true, love? I'm sorry I should have stayed with you.." I shook my head, breaking out of his strong embrace and sitting on the chair beside his. "It's alright.. Oh I got Gemma some chocolates." I jesured towards the side table, which was dashed with cards and flowers. Anne smiled. "Every girl needs chocolate." I nodded, looking over to Harry, who's face was stricken with worry. He bit the inside of his lip and the four of us sat there, for quite a while. Hoping, watching, waiting. The whole time Harry's arm was wrapped around my shoulders. As if I was the one needed comforting..
