She's Not Afraid - Chapter 12

*NIALLS POV*

"It's gonna be okay man!" I say reassuringly to Louis, who is still quite beat up about the whole Shelby's brother walking in and catching him having sex with her. So, I try to be subtle but everyone knows that subtle is really my middle name. "Yeah you're right Niall but ya know its just got to me a lot more than it should've.." He bows his head once more, staring at the melted pack of peas. Suddenly, there's a knock at the door and the lads, Becky and Chloe walk into the room. They all run over to him and scream "Are you okay Lou?" I smile but then notice something. "Where's Paige and Shelby?" I ask curiously, knowing that they were outside five minutes ago. Chloe and Becky turn around "I dunno Niall, we didn't see them when we arrived here." Chloe says slowly, looking over at Becky. I look at the floor, thinking for where they could've gone. "But..but they went outside to get Shelby some air! They were definitely out there because I saw them! They were standing right next to Lou's car...and now they're gone?" My adrenaline is suddenly on overdrive. They wouldn't just go off like that without telling anyone! It's not like them...it's not like Paige. Louis head snaps up "What? Paige and Shelby are gone!" His voice reaching a frighteningly high pitch. I nod slowly and Liam runs over to look out of the window "Nobody's there?" He looks over at Zayn and Harry. I'm about to come out with another one of my protective comments but my phone starts vibrating in my pocket. "It's Paige!" I almost scream so thankful that she's okay. "Paige? Paige, oh my god I'm so happy your okay! Where did you go babe?" I say extremely quickly into the phone, hoping she understood. "Hello Niall..." My face suddenly drops. It wasn't Paige.

*PAIGES POV*
My body begins to stir. I'm dragged out of unconscious when I here someone speaking on the phone. "Hello Niall.." Madison's voice says sternly. My eyes snap open and I'm struggling to untangle my arms from the newly bound wires. But this times there's about three different ties, each one becoming tighter and tighter. I hold in my screams as the sharp wires begin sinking into my skin. I give up and search the dark room for Shelby. I let out a sigh of relief when I see her sitting on a metal chair across from me, still unconscious. I try to speak but my mouth is covered with a cloth and tied tightly round the back of my head. How could I have been so stupid! This has happened before to other normal people who dated celebrities but I never thought that this would happen to me. 

My eyes eventually lock with Madison's and she puts the phone on speaker and places the phone on the small, slightly rotten table. I hear Niall screaming for her to let me go and to not touch me. "If you hurt her or either of them I swear you will both fucking die you psychotic bitches! Just tell us what you want!" Niall says calmly trying to hide the fact that he was crying. I then hear Louis, Becky and Chloe in the background attempting to overtake talking to the kidnappers. "Threatening isn't going to get you anywhere babe!" Madison says down the phone. "DON'T call me babe, you crazy slut!" Niall shouts back. Madison suddenly looses her temper, grabs the large kitchen knife she threatened me with not ten minutes ago and impales my left shoulder, it goes right through my body. I'm too shocked to scream. The pain is unimaginable but finally I'm able to release a pain filled, agonising scream from my throat. "Madison! Madison, I swear to god you're gonna pay for touching her!" She begins to laugh. "Actually.." She starts. "You're going to pay for calling me a slut and going out with this useless bitch instead of me! We're perfect for each other Niall and you chose her...so your going to pay by listening to her screams as I break and stab every bone, muscle and organ in her pretty body!" There's no reaction from the other end of the phone. "Oh and Louis! Don't think I've forgotten about Shelby..." I watch as Eve enters the room with a pair of scissors. She starts to walk towards Shelby. "No!" I scream but the cloth mutes most of it "Quiet Paige, I'm not done with you!" Madison squeals back. I don't listen to her, I try repeatedly to rip my wrists out of the wires. Even if it means loosing my hands or bleeding to death at least I'd know that I tried to help her. It's no use. As Eve slides open the rusty scissors, Shelby starts to come round so, she grabs Shelby's upper arm and stabs the scissors into her arm before slicing just below her elbow. Tears fall effortlessly down her face and her eyes meet mine before she screams so loudly that it's like the cloth isn't there. "Stay away from her! What do you want!" Louis shouts down the phone. "Stop hurting them for fuck sake! Tell us what you want!" Becky shouts louder, not caring what words come out of her mouth. Eve and Madison stop, walk up to my phone and presses it to their ears. "We. Want. Revenge....you're not going to see these two self conscious bitches ever again! Well, not alive anyway!" Eve whispers creepily before hanging up the phone and leaving the room silently. "We'll be back in an hour. That's when the real torture begins.." I burst into tears. I know I shouldn't show how vulnerable I really am but the thought of being carved like a piece of meat whilst my best friend is watching and boyfriend listening isn't very comforting. Shelby's eyes are froze, there's no emotion in her what so ever. Until she sees my watering eyes. That's when she mirrors my reaction. 

I just want Niall. 'Please Niall...please find us!' I wish hopefully. Begging for someone to be listening.
