*SHELBYS POV*

It was a couple of weeks after the funeral, we kind of left Niall and Paige to it, getting used to being parents, I think I've already spent too much on Demi but she's the cutest! I am determined to be the best aunty ever, Chloe was over there with them now and we didn't really want to be suffocated. Jack hadn't left thank god because I don't know what I'd do without him. Liam and the rest of the guys were out buying food leaving me curled up on the sofa with Jack. 'So what's going on with you and liam then?' Jack asked eventually. 'It's all okay.' I said not feeling that comfortable about the conversation. 'I don't want him hurting you like Louis did.' He said holding my hand. Out of everyone Jack was the one that was still off with Louis, he'd never forgive him for what he did. 'I trust him jack, he treats me so well, I mean he didn't have to fly out to come and get me, he didn't have to stay up all night comforting me the night of the funeral.' He nodded and squeezed my hand. 'Louis did all of that as well Shelby, Louis did more for the last 6 months or so.' I didn't actually know what to say to that because he had a point. 'Well that was my fault, I wasn't there enough, I wasn't making him happy.' Jack stood up and turned to face me, blocking the TV so I had no where else really to look. 'Don't you dare. You were perfect, you did everything right, he was the one with a problem, he's the one that hurt you and chose some girl over you.' I stood up and tried to face him, not really working seen as he was taller than me. 'That girl is called Ellie and she's really nice actually I think you should move on I have and yes it still hurts to see them hold hands and be what we used to be but it happens life goes on!' I shouted, noticing Jack looking past me not at me I turned around to see the other four guys looking awkwardly and shocked in the door. I've always taken the Louis situation calmly, well apart from my hospital incidence but I never opened up and told people how I felt really. 'I erm, I'm not feeling hungry.' I said walking past the boys awkwardly and shutting my bedroom door behind me.

I was quite numb to how I was feeling, so I got changed ready for bed, getting in and trying to sleep. I wanted to be asleep by the time Liam came up because he would want to talk to me and I didn't want to talk. I couldn't get to sleep so I put the TV on and it turned onto the Inbetweeners, seriously not the time. There was a knock on the door and threw my nearby shoe at it. 'Go away.' I shouted, I knew it wasn't Liam, he wouldn't knock and I didn't want to talk to Jack so. 'Stop being like that.' Louis said popping his head through the door. 'Am I safe or are you going to throw something else at me?' He smirked and I just shrugged. I was still pretty embarrassed about the whole shouting episode. He came and sat next to me in bed, he didn't say anything for a while, just watched the film with me. 'Do you remember when we watched this film?' He said finally and I couldn't help but smile at the memory. 'Yeah.' I said trying not to look at him or even concentrate on the conversation. 'You know i'll always love you and you're still my best friend... I haven't been spending time with you because I didn't think you wanted to.' I stopped him and turned to face him. 'I will always want to spend time with you, it just takes a little getting used to that's all.' I turned and faced the TV again, my little spurt of bravery disappearing. 'It hurts me to you know, seeing you with Liam, knowing at night when Ellie's not here, liam has you. I know what you and Liam do at night, who in this house doesn't? And you think that doesn't hurt sometimes, but I love Ellie and you love Liam but we'll always love each other in our own way...' I couldn't help but feel a stray tear fall down my face. 'Don't cry you weirdo.' He said pulling me to his chest and hugging me. 'We'll hang out more, okay? I know Jack hates me and Liam isn't exactly happy I came up, Shelby I'm sorry I cheated.' I smiled and squeezed his hand. 'So am I, we both made mistakes and good I need my bestfriend back!' He laughed and turned the tv off, faced me. 'Liam, is it love?' I turned to face him and shrugged. 'I think so, I really really hope so, how about Ellie?' He shrugged his shoulders mirroring my reaction and smirking at me. 'Well I think so and I hope so.' I pushed him playfully and couldn't help but smile. We both jumped slightly as we heard a scream, well if you could call it a manly scream, from downstairs. 'C'mon.' He said giving me a piggy back and ran us downstairs. 'Supermannnn!' he shouted loudly 'And Superwoman' I shouted after, as we ran into the living room. He put me down and we both stood back to back like superheroes, 'What's happening?' Louis said seeing all the guys on one side of the room. 'There is a massive spider or something over there.' Jack said pointing to the corner. 'Fuck, you know I don't do spiders!' I said running to where they were and standing next to Liam. 'Babies, the lot of you!' Louis said walking over to corner and screaming loudly, running and joining us on the other side of the room. 'Now what do we do?' Harry said. 'Man up, Hazza mate!' Zayn said pushing Harry towards the corner. 'Nope! Not happening.' He said standing with us. I got my phone out off the side. 'Paige.' I said as soon as she answered. 'What's the matter?' She said. 'Paige there's a spider.' There was silence on the phone. 'Oh dear lord.' She said hanging up. 'So... is she coming?' Liam asked. 'I really hope so!'
