Breaks A Billion Hearts - Chapter 71

*NIALLS POV*

As I'm congratulating Liam, the door bell suddenly rings. I know that Paige will probably answer it so carry on giving Liam advice on being a dad. "Becky?" I hear Paige mumble, the worried edge in her voice causes me to automatically wrap my arms around her. "What are you doing here Becky? You left us, left Zayn. What brings you back?" I ask scarcely. Knowing how much Becky's...abandonment hurt Zayn, I don't want him to get hurt again. After all, he's basically my brother. All the lads are. Suddenly everyone's behind us, staring effortlessly at Becky. Zayn stands furthest away, obviously not wanting to see or talk to her. "Chill Niall. I'm not here to cause trouble! I'm here because one of my best friends lost her baby." She replies sharply. I feel Paige tighten against me. And soon enough the girls are at her side. "You left Becky! You left out of your own free will! You didn't need to leave! We were horrified when you left, but we soldiered on because that's what we do! And now because of Niall and Paige's horrific event they had to live through, you're back!" Shelby emphasises as Chloe and Beth attempt to hold her back. Ellie, not knowing what to do apart from cling to Louis desperately. 
"Even! After blaming them for YOUR child's passing? This is low even for you Rebecca!" Shelby shouts as she slowly turns away. "Oh and if you plan on sorting things out with Zayn, think again! Because you broke his heart into millions of pieces but thank god he's found Perrie, who treats him right and would never leave him for no fucking reason!" She screams once more before marching up the stairs. 

We all stand in complete shock, even Becky, although she should have expected that. Zayn gradually steps forward, ignoring our pleas for him to stay back. "Shelby's right Becc. Please just leave, I realise you're hear to see your friend but she's doing fine. We all are! Don't make us bring up old news Becc..." Zayn mumbles, surprisingly gently. "We have a premiere we need to get too so..." Harry interrupts quickly. Becky nods her head slowly. "I understand, thank you for at least listening to me." she expresses before turning her back on us once more and leaving. 

*PAIGES POV*

"Listening to her! Listening to her! Seriously! She did not just fucking say that! I mean we had no choice and she just...ahhhhh!" I almost scream, just after Harry closes the door behind her. Niall gently starts rubbing my shoulders, attempting to reassure and calm me down. And it's actually working. "C'mon guys! We have a premiere to get too! An actual premiere! Lets forget about Becky for now and go!" Louis expresses powerfully as he shimmies us all towards the two black SUV's sitting on the drive. There's going to be stylists in London so we're all travelling in light comfortable clothing. Even though I'm a stylist myself, apparently my work 'isn't premiere worthy'. What a pile of bullshit! My work is perfect so those management guys are speaking through their arseholes! It's a good job I keep all this too myself. 

Once everyone is in the cars, there's only me and Lou left in the house as we do one final check. "Got everything?" He calls from the top of the stairs. "Yep, you?" I call back. "Yeah!" And he finally joins me in front of the door. I peer towards the cars and see Shelby playing with Demi as Liam grips her tiny hands. "Louis...are you okay?" I ask him suddenly. His eyes suddenly drop as he realises what I'm talking about. 
"Yeah..well, I guess. I mean...I never pictured that we'd be where we are now, ya know. I always thought me and Shelby would have kids, not her and Liam! Don't get me wrong I absolutely love Ellie, so much and I'm happy for Shelby and Liam but I just feel, I don't know! Thanks for asking Paige!" Louis expresses to me before pulling me into a friendly embrace. "You're very welcome Louis and I would give you some advice but in not really in the right frame of mind!" I reply sarcastically. We both begin to laugh "Yeah I know! Becky." 
I nod repeatedly before we lock the door and join the others in the cars. Niall kisses my cheek as I slide in next to him. "Everything okay babe?" He asks sweetly. I nod and smile "Yeah, everything's fine Nialler." I reply happily. This Is Us premiere here we come.
