Chapter 31

Shawn PoV

The last thing I remember is passing out on my bathroom floor.

I hear unfamiliar noises , where am I?

I hear a heart monitor, I'm in hospital.

I try to open my eyes, but I'm to weak.

Suddenly I hear a voice I recognise. its alex.

"I love you shawn, like really. Not as a friend, not even a best friend. But so much more. I love you Shawn mendes"

Did I hear her correctly?

She obviously thinks I'm still unconscious. I find the strength to open my eyes and I look directly into hers

" I love you too Alex smith" I say with a smirk before holding her hand

"OH MY GOD SHAWN!" Alex calls with tears filling her eyes

"No,no,no,no! Don't cry beautiful" I say trying to comfort her

"This is tears of joy! I'm so happy you're alive!" She shouts before giving me a hug. I immediately hug back.

"How you feeling?" Alex asks now that she's calmed down

"I feel okay, just tired " I say with a smile

"Oh I'll leave you to sleep" Alex starts to get up but I quickly grab her wrist

"Wait" I state before pulling her back to her chair so she can sit down.

"What's up?" She questions

"Did you mean what you said before? Abo- about loving me?" I stutter

Alex looks down to her hands and starts to play with her fingers

She lets out a huge sigh

"Y-yes, every word of it" she says looking back up at me obviously embarrassed, which was really cute might I add

"Did you mean it?" She asks back

Was this even a question? She knows I've loved her since day one. the day I met her was the day I wanted her to be mine. Forever.

"Every word" I say looking into her eyes

She looks back down to her hands again avoiding eye contact. I soon lift her chin up so we're looking into each others eyes.

She starts to lean in and I soon do the same. I plant a sweet kiss on her lips. It was full of love and passion, the feeling I had when we had our kiss in the sea at the beach

I soon pull away from the kiss

"What about nash?" I question feeling guilty

"I'm going to see him now. I just hope he understands" she says shaking a little

"Don't be scared, text me later okay?"

She nods before giving me a kiss on the cheek before walking out of my room waving on the way out.

The next thing I know is that I'm fast asleep.

Alex pov

I felt so many sparks with that kiss with shawn. it was amazing.

Now came the hard part. Telling nash.

I walk out of the hospital to get to my car. I put my key in the ignition and I begin to drive to Nash's.

The closer I got to his house, the more worried I became.

After a 15 minute drive I finally arrive at nashs. unexpected may I add
