Chapter 1

Shawn Pov

I can't belive how much my life has changed since this time last year. I was making vines doing covers of songs I love, I wouldn't have called it a hobby but a passion. Now I'm doing sold out tours with Austin Mahone as a headline act, its an amazing feeling.

As for the magcon guys, Nash and cam have been signed to awesomeness tv which is insane. Taylor, god taylor is just amazing, he is currently travelling the US in an RV meeting all the fans for free, which I think is amazing. As for the jacks they're still up to their antics as well as dropping the sickest beats ever, they're going on tour soon which I hope to see them at. And finally Matt, he's not really doing one thing right now which is strange because matts usually very sure on what he wants to do. As for the other guys, I guess you could say we lost touch, but whatever they're doing I hope they're all doing well at it. Wow shawn what a softy.

I wake up at about 6:30 bright and early for school. Yay (note the sarcasm). Everyone asks why I don't take online school, but i really don't see why I should, just because im famous. I roll out of bed and walk into the bathroom and look at myself in the mirror, wow I needed work.

I get into the shower and just stand facing the water, its so cold but its the only way for me to feel awake, well I could drink coffee like other teenagers but I'm shawn mendes and I don't think. I step out of the shower and dry myself. I grab my phone on the way out of the bathroom and click onto my playlist. I place my phone down on my dresser as Classic by mkto starts to play, damn this song is catchy.

I continue to dry myself and I decide to wear a red and black flannel button up, with black jeans and my black vans. I pick up my phone that is still playing my playlist as I sit on the edge of my bed. I open up twitter and look through my timeline. I can't believe I have 1m its surreal.

I walk out of my bedroom and walk down the stairs to the kitchen where I see my mom and sister Aliah sitting at the table eating toaster waffles.

"Morning" I say in a half sleepy tone

Aliah and my mom just stare at me as I sit down grabbing a waffle, I look at the table and pick up the maple syrup, I smother my waffle in syrup and my mom just laughing.

"You can tell your my son" she says with a laugh

"True dat" I say in agreement taking a bite out of my waffle

It was 7:45 and the school bus came at 8, for once I was actually ready for school. I'm pretty popular at school but just because of the tours, I really have a small group of friends which include Nash, Cam and Matt. I look at the clock and it was 7:55. I grab my backpack and walk out the door calling to my mom.

"Bye family!" I shout trying not to laugh

I wait outside my house and the school bus soon arrives. I enter the bus and I see Matt and Nash sitting in the bus surrounded by others from our school. I take a seat by matt as nash sits by cam knowing the whole cash thing.

We finally arrive at school at 8:30. I walk to my locker and take out the books I need for first period, English. I shut my locker and walk to the English room I walk through the door and take my seat next to nash.

A few minutes into class a brown hair, blue eyed girl walks into class, she was so beautiful I couldn't help but look.

"Okay class this is our new student Alex, please make her feel welcome" Mrs Hampshire said.

Alex smiled around to everyone in our class and took her seat which was a few seats from mine.

Alex pov

So today's the day. The day I start a new school. My parents thought it was a good idea for us to move and get a fresh start. I was so upset, I've left all my friends. Why did they do this to me? Making me start a new school in the middle of semester?

I wake up at 8 pretty late considering it's my first day. I walk to the bathroom and have a quick shower.

After im out the shower I wrap my towel around me and dry myself and decide what to wear for my first day. I want to set a good first impression. I decide to wear a floral crop top, high waisted skinny jeans and I finish the look with a pair of red vans. I start to dry my hair with my blow dryer and I plug I my curling wand so it can heat up. While waiting I check all my social media, as usual nothing interesting happening.

My curling wand has finally heated up, so I separate my hair into sections and I start to curl it. About 10 minutes later I've finished curling my hair and It looked good, if I do say so myself.

I walk down stairs and go to the fridge (don't judge me I love food) and grab an apple and a can of arizona. I walk over to the couch and plop myself down and I eat my apple and sip my arizona.

"Mom!" I call up the stairs. No answer.

"Mo-" im cut off.

"Okay okay! Lets go!" She says laughing at me.

We head out of the house and head to the car. Im so damn nervous I feel like im gonna be sick.

We drive to the school and it looked pretty friendly. I walked out the car and said bye to my mom. This was the moment I've been dreading since we moved here. A new school with no friends.

I walk to the front entrance and talk to the lady at the front desk.

"Erm Hi im Alex Smith im new here" I say with a smile. The lady looks at me with a blank expression and starts typing on her computer.

"Okay Miss Smith, here is your timetable" she says handing me a piece of paper.

"Thank you" I say with a smile walking down the corridor.

I look at my piece of paper and I have english for my first period. I walk down the hallway looking for the English room. I finally find it after 5 minutes of searching.

Okay here it goes I say to myself, while taking a deep breath before knocking on the door and turning the handle. The whole class just looked at me like a hungry wolf would at food. I walk up to the teacher and tell her my name and that im new

"Okay class this is our new student alex, please make her feel welcome" our teacher said.

"Im Mrs Hampshire" she said with a smile I smiled back and took my seat.

I looked around the class and one guy caught my eye for two reasons. 1. Because he was looking a me and 2. Because he was so perfect with his chestnut brown hair and brown eyes, I died a little inside. But a girl like me has no chance with a guy like that.

**** After class ****

Class went pretty well considering it was my first class on my first day. I made a new friend called elle and she was just so sweet the second ypu talk to her.

I started walking down the hallway until I found my locker number 226, I turn the lock putting I the combination. Once I opened the door of my locker I felt someone tap me on the back.

I turn round and I see the guy from first period. His eyes are like gold.

"Hey im Shawn" he says while smiling.

"Hi im alex nice to meet you" I say smiling back. Im freaking out right now inside, he came and spoke to me.

"See you around" he says and then walks away.

Shawn I may have just fell for you and I've known you for 2 minutes.

Shawn Pov

I needed to find an excuse to speak to her. After class I saw alex at her locker. This was my chance to introduce myself. I walk behind her and pat her on the back and she turns around.

"Hey im shawn" I say with a smile.

"Hi im alex" she replies with a smile. Dang her smiles infectious she's beautiful.

Play it cool, I thought to myself.

"See you around" I say passing another smile in her direction as I start to walk away.

Alex smith I think I love you....
