Hazel's P.O.V

"We can't let them get to us," Hannah said closing the door to Starbucks and following us all out towards the end of the broadway. After talking pand trying to gather up our thoughts we decided that there was no point in trying to fix it in one go.

"Your right, but no offence Han," Danielle said. "But it really has nothing to do with you, I mean me and Hazel are the ones that they are targeting."

Hannah shrugged and rolled her eyes at Danielle's rejection. "Yeah I know that, but we're a team remember." "Whatever you go through, we all go through too."

Danielle smiled.
"Hannah's right," Grace added nodding. "And when you think about it, if you two go to jail for the damage Jordan has done...Who's gonna rule over 'The Skater Girls?"

"Gee Grace, thanks for making us feel a lot better." Danielle gently punched Grace in the shoulder.

"Your so welcome Dani," Grace laughed and pulled Danielle's hair...Not so gently. Grace was actually really strong when she wasn't being such a goodie-two-shoes.

"Owwww!"

We all continued walking side by side, passing shops that were closing and diners that were still open. My hand was in Josh's who was walking silently staring out into the distance. I didn't want to say anything though, despite the fact that now and then he would squeeze my hand tightly as if something was bugging him.

I looked up at him, just watching his eyes dart from shop to shop, knowing that he didn't even know my eyes were glued onto his face. He squeezed my hand again and I winced at how strong his grip was.

"Josh are you okay?" I asked stroking my thumb across the top of his hand. Dean and the girls all went silent and I could feel them watching me talk to him.

He looked down at me and smiled, but his smile didn't reach his eyes like it normally did.
When he stopped smiling he started talking... "It's as if she wants to get rid of the whole group," he murmured loud enough for the girls to hear.

My kind smile faded into a frown because I was annoyed that all he was thinking about was Jordan and the incident that happened with the police. Or FAKE police...

"Duh, have you just registered? That's what she's been doing for like... Forever!" Ellie stated shaking her head in annoyance.

He didn't budge at her words. Infact, I don't even think he was listening... He continued talking... "Instead of taking you out one by one, they're trying to take you out altogether."

Zoey piped in. "That does make sense. They tried to hurt Danielle in the 8th grade by humiliating her in front of basically the whole school."

"But that didn't work because I didn't commit suicide or stop myself from coming back," Danielle said.

"And that's because you had us to lean on," Grace said.

"Well then taking us out all at once won't work then, because we won't ever stop being friends." Georgia smiled to herself.

What if they make us turn against eachother???

"What if they make you turn against eachother?" Josh questioned. I have no idea how he said the same thing that I was thinking, and I smiled at him because it was like we were soul mates and we could read each other's minds.

"That won't ever work."
"I could never turn away from you guys."
"We're a team, so we'll always stick together."
"I love you guys too much to ever hate you."
