Danielle's P.O.V
"Okay, so my mums Book Club starts in," I glanced at the time on my phone, "15 minutes. Is everyone clued up on the plan?"
"Wait. What plan? Nobody told me there was a plan." Georgia glanced up from her phone, her face confused as hell.
"Where have you been?" Hannah questioned her.
"Uh, here. I've been right here," Georgia snapped.
Hannah snatched her phone and looked at the screen. "Obviously not, we literally just went over the plan like 10 minutes ago. But you wouldn't know that cause you've been playing flappy bird."
"Huh, that's why you looked like you were nodding. Focus Georgia, focus." I said, pointing my finger to my temple.
"Go through the plan one more time, and Georgia, if you don't get what you have to do. Just take your phone back and play games. We can't mess this up."
Hazel looked at me and nodded, letting me know that I should start speaking. So I told them about the plan, again. Everyone had positions to take, Hannah, Zoey and Ellie were going to attend the Book Club. Hazel and I were going to stay inside the bedroom, keeping a look out for anyone who tried to sneak off upstairs. And Grace and Georgia were going to hide out in Zoey's car, waiting to see if the same vehicle that was there last time came back, and who the car belonged to.
"What if the car doesn't show up?"
"It will show up. It has to." I shook my head. I hadn't really planned everything out to the best of my ability, and so I wasn't exactly prepared for things to not go as planned.
"What if the car doesn't show up and A still fucks with us?"
"Okay, no offence Georgia. But this isn't Pretty Little Liars for the nth time. Stop calling him that."
"What about the 'Black Hood."
I glared at Ellie. "This isn't Riverdale either!"
"Then what are we calling," Ellie turned her voice to a whisper, "you know who?"
"What about Skater Hater?" Grace piped in, proud of her imagination.
"That sounds like something a 5 year old would call their bully." I deadpanned her.
"But whoever's messing with us keeps saying -A at the end." Georgia argued.
"A could be for 'anonymous?" Hazel thought.
"Or asshole." Hannah said.
I shook my head in frustration. We were going off track, and the Book Club was about to start in like 5 minutes. We had to get in our positions for this plan to work out.
"Forget it. Call him who you want. I don't care anymore. Just get in your places." I got up and opened the door, gesturing for everyone to get out except Hazel.
"Everyone's phones on right?" I asked.
The girls nodded one by one as they walked out the room.
"Good, we'll keep in touch on WhatsApp." I said, closing the door.
"We should get walkie talki-."
I stopped Georgia from finishing her sentence. "This isn't Stranger Things, Georgia."
"Yeah, and unless they're pink walkie talkies or covered in diamonds, I ain't using one." Ellie said, walking down the stairs.
