R.I.P? Shopping Spree!

Hazel's P.O.V

Today was a new day, a better day. After Danielle told me about the letter my mum had left on the fridge, I freaked out. Like really bad.

Flashback

Danielle read the letter out loud and Hannah listened in. When the letter was finished they both looked at each other in utter fear. "What do we do? Hazel shouldn't see this," Danielle whispered reading the note over again.

Hannah thought differently. "No, I know what you're thinking, but she has a right to see this; after all, her mum wrote it to her." Hannah took the paper from Danielle's hands and started walking to the living room.

Danielle jogged after her and pulled her back just as she was about to enter the living room. "But Hannah if she sees this, nothing will be the same. Throw it away."

"No Danielle, don't you see? Nothing's the same anymore. We're all in trouble now, and the last thing we want is to lose anymore clues as to who is doing this to us."
Hannah walked straight in, and Danielle sighed nervously and followed her again.

"Hazel, you need to see this." Hannah said loudly, handing the paper to her.

Hazel took the paper from Hannah's hands and started reading curiously. Danielle watched as her eyes moved from side to side as she scanned the letter in front of her.

Ellie sat up on the couch, and the other girls turned their heads away from the television.
"Hazel, what does it say?" She asked sweetly, moving forward in her seat with curiosity.

When Hazel looked up, she had tears in her eyes and her arms were shaking; so much, she accidentally dropped the letter on the floor. Danielle watched silently as the piece of paper floated towards the surface.

"They've got my mum, my mums in trouble."
Hazel spoke with a gravelly throat and her eyes stared at the glass table in front of her.

Danielle went over to Hazel and crouched down next to her. "Hazel, it's gonna be alright," she reassured her, placing an arm around her shoulders.

Hazel shook Danielle's comfort from her drastically and pushed Danielle away. Danielle didn't say anything though, she knew that Hazel wasn't in the right state of mind.

"Leave me alone, all of you!" Hazel was starting to leave the room. "This is all my fault, LEAVE ME!"

The room fell silent as the girls all looked at each other in pity and confusion.
"Hazel it's not your fault, pl--"

"LEAVE ME ALONE!"

End of flashback

Yeah so that was me. But that was me 2 days ago. My mum came back home and said that everything was fine, and that the letter didn't even have anything on it.

Phew!

Now I was at home in my bed with Danielle, who had slept over with me because she knew that I wouldn't want to sleep alone. The $500 my mum left for me was still in the cabinet in the kitchen. So Danielle and I figured that we should all go on a shopping spree...

Because let's face it guys, shopping really is the best type of therapy ;)
Danielle was still asleep next to me, her long hair creeping down her back in a frizzy mess while she stirred around every time I moved.

One of her eyes opened and she rolled her eyes up at me. "Hazel, why are you awake so early? Go back to sleep for fucks sake!"

I smiled and pushed her off of the bed and Danielle landed on the floor with a thump. I was staring at the end of the bed waiting for her to jump up and wrestle me to dead, but all Daniele did was raise her hand above the bed and stick her middle finger at me.
