Hazel's P.O.V
"Danielle are you okay? You look like you're about to faint."
"Yeah, I'm good. Just a little overwhelmed."
"No shit, that psycho tried to run you over. The nerve."
We were gathered at the mall, sitting in the food court, slowly eating two large pizzas as we talked about the sticky situation we were in.
"So, what's the plan?" Ellie asked, picking the mushrooms off of her slice.
"I say we run up to their house, fucking egg it." Georgia muttered. "We need to do something, you know, to warn them that we aren't afraid to fight back.
"We don't have any idea where the car is, or what house it belongs to."
"We need to wait for your mums book club to start, and then we should go outside and check all the cars, see if any one of them match the one we saw last time." Zoey said calmly.
"I agree, we'd get in trouble if we tried to take matters into our own hands. We need to be patient."
"Patient my ass." Danielle murmured.
I was beginning to think that we were never going to get out of this hell, that we were just going round in circles. When did skating with a group of friends get so complicated? Our lives were turning into a disaster.
"Okay. Say we wait it out, what happens if the car doesn't turn up? What then?" Danielle asks, arms folding across her chest.
"I reckon one of us should stay downstairs, make sure that no one is up to anything fishy." Zoe interrupts, her idea causing everyone to stop and think.
"How about we all join Book Club?" I said.
"And listen to my mum talk about how sexy she felt reading 50 shades of grey? No thanks, I'll pass." Danielle said, cringing her face in sarcastic agony.
"I wouldn't mind joining. I love reading." Zoe said, shrugging her shoulders.
"You don't belong in the 21st century." Ellie giggled. "Reading is for the elderly."
"Ellie, spell exacerbated." Zoe said, grinning.
"What even is that?"
"My point proven."
Danielle got up and pushed her chair in, whilst Ellie and Zoe were still bickering.
"Where you going?" I asked, looking up at her.
"Home, mum said she wants help with the cooking. Coming?"
I jumped up, taking one last slice of pizza with me. "Girls see you at the Book Club?"
The rest of the girls got up and nodded.
"I need to be making my way home now anyway."
"Yeah me too."
"Same."
I nodded. "Alright, we'll leave together then."

"Did you skate all the way here?" Hannah said, making her way towards her car.
"Yeah, it wasn't that bad." Danielle said.
"Says the one who got knocked over by a car," Ellie said frowning. "You shouldn't do shit like that when you're injured."
"It's whatever." Danielle murmured.
Danielle and I were just about to skate away when Georgia called out to us.
"Hey, anyone remember the number plate of the car?" She said, standing with a questioning look on her face.
Ellie came over, "Yeah, it was something like SA7665."
Georgia gave Ellie a dumbfounded look. "A number plate doesn't have that many numbers you imbecile."
I walked over and took a look at the car, I'd memorised they plate from memory.
"SE78WPH," when I realised the number plate was exactly the same, I panicked.
"It can't be, A's here." Georgia said, frantically looking around the parking lot.
"W- what do we do? Do we wait for them to come back?" Ellie asked.
"I don't think they're gonna be back anytime soon. We're probably being watched at this very moment. They won't come back when we're still here." Zoe shook her head, her eyes scanning the inside of the car.
"Any clues as to who might be the driver?" I asked.
Zoe looked through all the windows and come back to the front with a clueless face. "There's nothing in the car that gives it away."
"Apart from the fact that the car is lame; so whoever's driving it is lame too." Hannah murmured.
"Fuck it." Danielle came from behind me, dangerously holding her house keys in her hand. "If A or whoever the fuck is watching, they can watch me do this shit!"
And with that, she keyed a loooooooong line from the front of the car to the back. When she was done she walked to the boot and kicked it, like really hard.
When we heard glass shatter, we all ran to the back to see what she had done.
"You knocked one of her lights out?"
"Yeah, and imma do it aga-."
Before Danielle could kick the other light out of its socket, Hannah grabbed her from behind and pushed her to the side."
"What the hell are you trying to do, get sent to prison as well?" Hannah cried.
"I'm ready to do some time-," Danielle shrugged her shoulders and ran for the car again.
Hannah wasn't quick enough to stop her.
