Girl above stars as Ellie
Hannah's P.O.V
I think I should stop crying now. Yeah, it was time for me to stop crying. I had spent about the last 2 days trapped in my bedroom with the door locked and the curtains drawn. I know what you're thinking, that's the kind of things you do when you've just broken up with your boyfriend or girlfriend, or maybe someone's died.
But my friends were just important as my family, because they were family. I've been friends with them for as long as I can remember and now I can't even find the courage to send a text to them. I wonder if they feel the same way as me. Probably not, they've got eachother to keep company and I have basically no one. Life sucks!
"Honey are you awake?" My mum knocked gently on my door and waited for me to reply. My voice was hoarse when I answered. "Yeah mum I'm up, and I don't want any breakfast."
I heard my mum sigh on the other side of the door. I felt bad, really bad. This was the fifth time she's come up to ask me to eat and it's the fifth time I've turned food down.
I'm sorry mama, I really am.
"Okay honey, I'm downstairs if you need me; I guess I'll just give you some space." My mum sounded like she was about to cry. She wasn't meant to feel that way, not because of me.
Jordan's P.O.V
My heart skipped a beat when the police officers stood up first and walked towards the door casually. They were expecting someone.
It's Michelle's mum waiting for you to open up the door so she can beat your ass 6 feet under. You see, Michelle herself couldn't quite make it because she's not in the right physical or mental state to even make it out of the hospital; what with one broken nose and a black eye...
I was getting played by my own mind. One of the police officers looked me up and down as if she could feel the guilt radiating off of my body. I smiled back as politely as I could, but I could feel the sides of my cheeks shaking as I tried my best to stretch my smile out further.
"Don't beg it Jordan," I hissed at myself as soon as the police turned to face the door.
When I saw who stepped off my porch my face suddenly relaxed and I smiled to myself knowingly. It was my auntie, she had her hair short in bright, blonde curls and her police uniform on. She winked at me as she walked through the door.
"Sorry do we know you?" The tall police officer asked stepping back and watching my auntie walk through the living room.
"No, you don't know me. But you will," she said sitting down on a sofa. She always liked to make herself comfortable.
The other tall police officer came walking towards her and pulled out a badge. "Detective Howard, and these are my two assistants." I watched silently as the other two nodded towards her.
There was silence in the room, as the brown haired police officer waited for my auntie to introduce herself.
Instead of waiting however, the lady continued to talk."We were sent by the officials in the Downhill Park Police Department to investigate on the assault on Michelle Walkers, there was an incident-."
"Yeah I know about the incident..." My auntie looked at the officer in search of her name.
"Detective Howard miss," the lady said quietly.
"That's it, Detective Howard." Auntie sat up straight and sighed as she cross one of her legs across the other one in a formal manner.
"But you see, I was sent also; to get information and you are kind of in the way of my investigation by being here."
