Danielle's P.O.V

---------------------------------

So thankfully we had escaped the skatepark safely without getting called back by police officers. Before we left I noticed I had blood all over my dress, but Dean gave me his shirt so I could put it on top.

We had just reached the broadway where Hazel and I first saw the 20 boys sitting by the milkshake shop. I couldn't help thinking that if we didn't make them follow us, this whole stupid situation wouldn't have even happened. And I was right.

Even though the water fight was epically awesome, it consequently caused my dress to ruin, my hair to go all frizzy and my...Well that's all I have. However on the other hand I met Dean and I think he's really into me. Instead of skating we walked up the hill and we've been holding hands all the way up here.

I'm gonna have to find another dress...

"Hey you alright bubblegum?" Dean said squeezing my hand gently. I looked up at him slowly.

"Bubblegum? Why that nickname?" I asked smiling.

"Well, you see it's a metaphor. Bubblegums my favourite flavour and I eat it all the time. Right now, your my favourite girl and I think about you all the time," he explained.

He thinks about me all the time...I'm starting to fall for...

"But when the flavour starts to fade, I throw the bubblegum in the bin," he added.

Sorry what? Is he saying his gonna throw me in the bin after he starts to get bored???? He better not otherwise I'm gonna-

"The only difference is, I don't think I'll ever get tired of you. Your flavour will always stay, and I'll never throw you away."

He knows how to rhyme...Oh boy!

I bumped his shoulder slightly and giggled. We intertwined hands and for a moment everything else faded away, it was just me and him.
But then all of a sudden out of the corner of my eye I saw three police officers walking towards us.

I froze and Dean squeezed my hand even tighter, telling me to be cool. There were 2 girl officers and one boy, but both the girls said something to the male officer and then he just stood at the wall and the girls carried on walking towards us.

"Shit," I mumbled.

"Oh fuck!"
"We're screwed."
"Oh boy my mums gonna kill me."
"Should we leg it?"
"Guys stay cool."

As the two lady officers came nearer, I couldn't help but stare at their faces. They both looked flawless and somehow strangely familiar...I've seen them before...Somewhere.

"Excuse me but can we talk to you for a few minutes," the taller one asked nicely. Her hair was short, curly and blonde and she was wearing light pink lipstick.

No one spoke, I turned immediately and looked at Hazel for an answer, but she stayed silent. The two officers started to look curious.

"Yeah sure, how can we help you?" Dean spoke up stepping forward and breaking the awkward, deadly silence. This time the shorter lady spoke, her hair was long and brown and she looked really young.
"We need to ask you a few questions," she said with a serious tone.

"Yeah sure go ahead," Dean replied rather confidently.

The tall officer took out a phone from her coat pocket, it was a really old flip-up phone that I used to always want when I was younger. She flipped the phone and when I saw the contents on the screen I gasped for breath.
