Like A Boss

Hazel's P.O.V

"Wait!" I exclaimed taking my feet off the skateboard and turning towards Danielle. She sighed with disappointment and then turned to face me, with an annoyed expression on her face. She probably thinks that I'm gonna say something stupid...

"What?" She said raising her eyebrows waiting for me to answer. "You totally just killed my buzz...Your a buzz kill you know that?" Danielle was irritated and she had her arms folded around her chest giving me an evil glare.

I smiled.

"What do I look like? Do I look good?" I asked her with anticipation in my eyes. She laughed and shrugged off her mood and then gleamed with happiness.

"You look fine...Better than fine actually...You look gorgeous!" She replied, looking at me with a pedophile grin on her face. I laughed and sighed inwardly, mentally thanking God that my makeup hadn't smudged and my hair was still perfectly curled.

"Phew!" I said.

"What about me?" She asked?

"You look fine...Better than fine actually...You look stunning!" I said mocking her voice and giving her the same pedophile grin she gave me.

She laughed and I could see that she was mentally thanking God that her makeup hadn't smuggled either.

We both got ready to skate. Counting out loud together...

"3,2,1,GO!" We shouted, and with that we took off at mental speed; heading towards the hot boys still chilling in front of the milkshake store.

I was in front seeing as I'm the leader of the skater gang, but I didn't need to check if Danielle was behind me because I knew she was as eager to get the boys to notice her as I was.

As soon as we were near the boys at the shop, we started skating towards the left a little bit, so that they could recognise us straight away. The wind was blowing against my hair nicely and I could feel the bright sun hitting my face in that perfect angle; making my face glow.

This is siccck!

I was pulled out of my thoughts when I heard loud whistles coming from behind us. I continued skating and found a space in the street that I could skate through without bumping into anyone.

When I knew nobody was gonna get in my way, I took a quick glance behind me and saw that every single boy was following us at high speed.

Shit this is so awesome!

"Hey Dan!" I yelled. The sound of my skateboard was so loud in my ears that when I shouted, people started to give me the evils.

Before I could think of something rude to say to the people that were staring, my eye caught Danielle who was now beside me.

"What it do hoe?" She shouted back at me, her face looked so buzzed... She was obviously freaking out to the fact that there were at least 14 HOT boys chasing us on their skateboards.

"When we get to the entrance of Downhill Park, we separate ok! I'll go left and you go right." I explained to her whilst trying to pick up my pace faster.

I had a plan...

Downhill Park was a giant hill that had two concrete lanes on either side of it. In the middle of the hill was the park, which wasn't actually a park, it was just a bit of bright green grass that ran all the way down the hill. Trees were placed in an intricate order all the way down, so the public used them for shade.

Nobody ever used the lanes. Everybody walked in the middle of the hill which was on the grass. The only people that ever used the hill were bikers and skaters...So this meant that going down the hill was going to be ridiculously easy.

Me and Danielle were gonna separate to the two sides of the hill and skate all the way down. By doing this the boys (that were still chasing us!) would have to split up and chase the two of us because it's a little dangerous for too many skaters to skate on one lane.

At the end of the hill were the sprinklers, they were tiny holes in the ground that would spray out gallons of water seconds after you went over them. Me and Danielle were gonna skate over every single hole, fast enough to not get sprayed; and by the time the boys went over them, the water would already be spraying...And they would get soaked!

What's better than hot boys soaking wet?

Danielle knew what to do the second after I told her, the gleaming smile on her face made her awesomeness even more dangerous. She nodded eagerly and took off to the right just as I took off to the left.
