Chapter 19

(F/N) POV)

A couple days after the incident, school started again. I was off crutches by then, and I was cleared to go back to training. Denki knocked on my door, "Wakey wakeyyy! We're going back to school todayyyyy!"

I rolled my eyes, "Like going back to school is a good thing." Denki opened by door and pouted. "Well sheesh. If you don't like my wake-up calls, then just tell me. Anyways, get ready. I think Mr. Aizawa will kill us if we're late."

I nodded, "Yeah yeah, I know. Get out so I can get dressed."

Denki nodded and left my room, and I stood up and grabbed my uniform. I looked at the ugly stab wound on my leg that had turned to a scar, and it was then that I realized that anyone could see it because I wore a skirt. The scar was on my lower thigh, right in the middle.

Shit. I thought. I don't need anyone to find out that I was one of the ones who fought the Hero Killer.

I sighed as I walked out of my room, now fully dressed and praying that nobody would notice.

Denki and I ate a quick breakfast, then walked to school. We ran into Midoriya on the way, and we struck a conversation with him that lasted until we got to our classroom.

Midoriya and I headed right over to Todoroki and Iida, who were sitting next to one another and chatting.

Suddenly we heard, "Holy crap! What the heck Bakugo?!" followed by the laughter of Sero and Kirishima.

When I turned around, I saw that Bakugo had tamed his hair, and it absolutely did not suit him. "Stop laughing! My hair's gotten used to this and I can't get it back the right way!" I turned my back to him and covered my mouth with my hand, careful to not let a laugh escape. "Did you not hear me? I'll kill you both!"

Sero continued to laugh through his insult, "I'd like to see you try, pretty boy!"

Bakugo's hair exploded, reverting back to it's original style. "What did you call me?!"

I sighed, turning back to Midoriya, Iida, and Todoroki. "Anyways, how are you guys healing?"

Midoriya sighed, "I mean, I could be better. When my mom heard what had happened she panicked and was freaking out. She cried as soon as I got home." Iida shook his head, "Well, aside from my arm, I'm doing just fine." Todoroki sighed, "My injuries were minimal to begin with."

"Now if you wanna talk about the ones who really changed, it was those four." I heard Denki's voice and immediately froze.

Sero perked up, "Oh yeah! The Hero Killer!" Kirishima sent a concerned look our way, "Glad you guys made it back alive!" They were being held up by the collar of their shirts by none other than Bakugo.

"I worried about you too." Momo looked at us from the next desk over. Suddenly, everyone was crowding Todoroki's desk. Sato spoke up, "You were lucky Endeavor showed up and saved you guys." Hagakure squealed, "So cool! Just what I'd expect from the number 2 hero!"

I wish I could tell you guys that it was actually US who saved everyone...but that dog dude told us we can't.

I went along with it, "Yeah, that's right. He saved us." I glanced at a nodding Todoroki. Ojiro was the next one to comment, "Did you hear the news about the Hero Killer? Everyone's been saying he was somehow connected to the League of Villains. Can you imagine how frightening it would have been if that creep had been there when they attacked the USJ?"

Denki nodded, "He's scary, yeah. But did you see him in that weird video? It's all over the internet." "I didn't even know there was a video of him." Ojiro responded. "Yeah!" Denki replied, "Stain's a pretty evil villain, but, like, super tenacious. He's almost kinda cool, dontcha guys think?"
